Wayne’s Tattoo Studio

0 starts, my tat should have been an easy layer of ink (it was just faded) the line work looks like a 3 year old did it. I’m very upset.

I hate this place. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Charged me 500 bucks for a crappy tattoo that scarred my skin. The tattoo wasn’t colored properly, and the old man didn’t even know how to trace my drawing. He said he didn’t know if he could do my tattoo because it was too hard, so I should pick something from his terrible book. DO NOT GO HERE. Go to a real shop and get some good ink.

Horrible, I gave him the exact picture that I wanted and it came out totally different, $ 450 dollars later, now I have to spend more money to fix it. No good

Contrary to the vast reviews, my experience here a few years ago was a great one. Wayne did my tattoo on my feet (a latin phrase) and the lettering’s were even and perfectly spaced. Looked awesome after healing and looks awesome now. 0 complaints.
I swore off tattoos, but now I’m thinking about coming back to get my left foot done. Hmm.

I do not recommend this shop at all especially if you go to Wayne. He couldn’t even draw out some simple stars. I had to get my tattoo fixed after going there. Never again !

One word: Pricey.
I had my first tattoo done here and 3 – 4 years later the ink is «bleeding» as tattoo artists say.
I will get my tattoo touched up correctly at a shop I know is dependable. I overpaid here for a tattoo where the ink has spread and it wasn’t a smooth job.

I am very dissapointed with Wayne’s :(
my first tattoo experience with Kristen was amazing, but the work that Wayne did for my friend was so bad. he made an excuse that my friend shouldnt get shading because his skin was «too dark» (my friend is asian with tan complexion)
then the outcome of the lines were crooked and it was just a bad job
trust me i would rather for to TRIPLE R or better yet Royalty Tattoo Collective for real tattoos at better or same prices.

My tatt is incredible. It is a portrait and looks identical to the portrait. Kristen did the drawing – wayne did the tatt. I love it.
He did a dragon and a tiger for my dad. They are both filled with different colors to show the inflections of the animals skin.
I love this place, love the work – and i’m willing to pay to get good work done.

I am actually quite surprised this shop got such high reviews. Went with a friend. Wayne puts too much pressure with the needle… actually too deep because the resulting artwork shows major scarring more than any usual tattoo. Try the spot in Daly City or there are a few high quality shops in the city. Its your skin and its permanent think twice about this spot.

I was seriously disappointed with a cover up I came in for on my shoulder. I saw Kristen’s work on another client & it was great. So, I went in. We drew up some ideas. Went back for approval. Made an appointment. What she began to do on me was NOT what was drawn. She began to do almost a reverse high-​light thing when it was supposed to be solid colors. Also, the lines weren’t turning out smoothly. I asked her to do the solid inking. My tatt was multiple parts with multicolor. She outlined the other parts with really off colors & then filled in the design with what I consider bizarre shading. I am so unhappy with it. And disappointed because I saw some of her work over a period of time. Now the cover-​up needs a cover-​up! Well, some sort of clean up anyway. I don’t bare my shoulders as much as possible because of the lousy job.

Ok if you are going to go to Waynes you have to see Krisitn and only Kristin. Bottom line I hate pain and fear needles. Kristin is a tattoo magician she made the experience as painless as possible and was very patient and made me feel comfortable with the needle. I am a proud owner of 4 of Krisitns tattoos. While I do find this place to be very overpriced I keep coming back because I know I can trust Krisitn.

My arm is currently itching as the tattoo work I recently had done at Wayne’s is healing up nicely. Wayne and Kristen were amazing in their tattoo execution from initial planning through to the finish product. The shop is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They made sure that my tattoo drawing was exactly what I wanted it to be. I am already planning to go back for another tattoo. I would highly recommend going to wayne’s tattoo because kristen and wayne are great at what they do and it shows.

This place is awesome!!! My girlfriend wanted to get a tattoo of the Philippine flag Sun on her elbow (which is really difficult) and Kristen took real good care of her. Kristen took the time to explain to her the pros and cons about getting a tattoo on the elbow but at no point pressured her to get it. Once my girlfriend decided to go through with it, Kristen made sure that the placing of the tattoo was perfect. My girlfriend was very stoked with the final outcome of the tattoo. Wayne is very precise and professional and you could definitely see it in his work. We are definitely coming back here next time!

This place is great! I was a walk in and told them what I wanted and we got it done. They were super friendly and took their time to show us their artwork. I LOVE their precision and my tattoo came out looking awesome! I’m definitley coming back for more and i’m bringing some friends with me. :)

Yeah, they’re nice people, but when it came down to it my tattoo came out crappy. Wayne pretty much dug a hole in my skin when he was shading a piece of my tattoo. When I told him a couple days later he said that he didn’t do that. LIAR! (btw. it took that spot an extra 4 weeks to heal and you can still see the scar.) Oh and they overprice.

I came here with my cousin to get her tattoo few weeks back. Though I have not ever gotten a tat from this place, I could tell the tattoo artist is very seasoned and definately has great skills. My cousin’s tattoo came out looking perfect. It is exactly what she had in mind and within a week, we recommended this place to a friend who went there for his first tattoo and he came out estatic.
This place is clean and sanitized. Their prices are fair, too! Definately would come here when I am ready to get my own.

This old man SUCKS! This is probably one of the most unsanitary places I’ve been to!
He does tats right in the front of the shop! Granted my needle was new, but still, I’ve never been to a place that did tats right in the front as you walk in!
Then he tried to charge me $ 80 for a simple STAR tattoo!!! I said, «you’re trippin, I paid $ 70 for my Libra tat» (bigger and more ink). So he dropped it to $ 70. (Whoopty freakin doo!)
It started out simple enough, but when I was trying to take a good look at my tat, he covered it up, mumbled some shit about not scratching and then sent me on my way.
NO after care instructions or ANYTHING.
THEN after I take the Kleenex (yes, Kleenex) wrap off my wrist, I notice that one line on my star is off! It was like he drew too far off the line, and now it looks dumb!
I’m going in today to see if he’ll fix it FOR FREE!!!
Don’t EVER go to this place! I have no idea why I even stayed…
Well, my sister got the same tattoo, but hers turned out REALLY nice, but mine came out shitty.
DON’T EVER EVER EVER EVER go to this place!

This place is a piece of crap. the old man that does the tattoos can’t even do a straight line. All the tattoos that i have seen from there that my friends have gotten have either had to cover the mistakes or just hate it over all.
DO NOT GO TO WAYNE’S TATTOO IN SAN BRUNO!!!
