San Bruno Recreation Center

I was at the San Bruno Recreation Center today and had to use the men’s restroom near the vending machines. As I approached the open door area I looked at the first stall. This first stall area was suppose to be for people with a disability. There was one problem there is no door on the stall and no way for privacy to go to the bathroom. Everyone that comes through the doorway can see the person going to the bathroom. I think that the City of San Bruno can afford to update there bathroom so that a person can move around and also have some privacy. I do not know how long this has been going on. This is unacceptable and should be taken care of immediately. thank you for your help in this matter.

The San Bruno summer camp program is wonderful! The best part of the camp kaleidoscope program is the location. The camp allows access to the swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, park & snack bar, hiking to Junipero Serra Park, barbeque areas and baseball fields. They go on fun field trips to places such as «pump it up» and mini-​field trips as well.
I love how the kids get a great workout, they are always active and in the sun. The kids are wiped out at the end of the day which is a sign that they are busy busy at camp :-) San Bruno park is the first city south of SF that gets sunny/​warm weather. The weather makes it really feel like summer, and i love that my kids can play and swim outdoors all day!

Summer is here and I’m sure those of you who have kiddies are looking for ways to amuse your little ones. Check out the San Bruno Rec Center for Summer camps and other enrichment activities available for the kiddies and the oldies. My son, niece and nephews have been enrolling in summer camps here for three years now. There’s a myriad of camps to choose from for all ages! The plus side is, if you’re a resident, you incur a special discounted rate and it’s so worth it! They have a great swimming program as well. Check out the site for more info!
