Performance Tow : 24hour towing

BEWARE! these guys are crooks it is a hole in the wall operation, the city must give must give a liscence to anyone that wants one. run now as fast as you can. they have no idea how to tow and will rip you off badly. after damaging your car due to incompitance.

Super helpful and Affordable. Driver was cute Lol and the truck we rode in was a flat bed and fairly new! Will def recommend this place.

Mark just walked on water, as far as I’m concerned. I gave him a difficult tow job, and he made it happen. He asked all the right questions and I gave him all the info I had. BAM, he got my vehicle to where I needed it! What else could one ask for?

Back in March these guys towed my AWD (these should be on a flat bed) car by the rear wheels causing damage to my front bumper.(car is stock) A bumper that was replaced by another party’s insurance back in September so I was super careful with it. After several messages they never returned my inquiry on the matter. Place is a PoS IMHO. If you get towed by these guys inspect your vehicle for damages!!!

Where to start… Probably by clarifying that the 1 star is because 0 isn’t an option. My car was stolen and picked up by these guys. They transported the car a total of 4 (four) miles and charged $ 240 for it. Then because it was the weekend they kept my car for a comfortable $ 75 a day. I ended up having to pay $ 615 to recover my stolen vehicle. They’re nothing but modern day criminals although they have made me question my career path. Anyone else want to partner up in the towing business?

These guys are scum. They illegally tow your car and charge ridiculous amounts of money (almost $ 500) for holding it for even a few hours (3 in my case). They are slow to show up even though they claim 24 hours. Took me over 2 hours to get my car back even though I had all my paper work done because they messed up theirs and illegally towed my car.

Avoid at all costs! Quoted me at rate then when he arrived he charged me a different rate because he knew he could. I was stuck on el camino which was on 1 miles from where my car needed to be towed… Then he wanted only cash! Avoid!!!

Had my Farmers HelpPoint call as our car died and they sent out Performance Tow — I was concerned as they said it would be 45minute wait, but they got there within 20 min. Not sure if that can be controlled, but the real good experience started when Chris began dealing with our car. He was more than careful and diligent and very cordial in toting us along with our car to the drop off and our house.
Many thanks to them in helping make a bad situation good. Really nice trucks, and as noted, Chis did a stand up job — very conscientious.

These Guys are Crooks. Charged $ 390 for 1 mile of towing. Charges $ 75/​day for storage fees and charges by the morning not by 24 hours. Unauthorized towing, lets see what else. Rude at the desk, they were just chatting it up most the time, wasted a good half hour. Oh and if you pick up your vehicle at night its an extra $ 150 so they are not really 24 hours, they just kind of force you to go to the next day

Had a terrible experience with the towing company. They towed my car to the wrong place, and I had a missing car dilemma & NIGHTMARE for a few hours. Called the guy right after I found my car, and they were unapologetic and tried to blame the whole deal on the repair shop. Simply put, THEY TOWED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS and won’t admit it + blame it on others!!! Don’t deal with this company!!! Find another towing company!

Worst customer service ever, wanted to charge me $ 15.00 to give me a copy of my receipt. also will charge me a whole extra day for being 1 hour late.
the front desk guy is rude, should not work as a customer service person.
Could not fax the receipt, you have to go an get it, I live in Novato this place is in San Bruno. What else…

If you need a tow, these are the only people to call. I have AAA so when my son rolled my car late Tuesday night, we called AAA. They sent D & M Towing. DO NOT USE D & M TOWING! Their driver was trying to charge me $ 700+ to tow my car when I had placed the service call with AAA. I called Performance Tow, close to tears, knowing I was being ripped off. I called around 1:00am and Robbie arrived before 1:30am. He suggested I tell D & M to go away, which I did. Then this as*hat told me he would have to charge me his hourly rate and would get in touch with his dispatch to find out how much that was.
I called AAA to let them know what D & M was trying to charge me and they contacted that fuc*tard and told him to just swipe my card, get a signature and be on his way.
Robbie did a great job, quickly, professionally, and with a smile on his face. What a great guy. I’ve also dealt with Marco, the owner, on a few other ocassions. Always a great result. Always. The office staff, including Giovanna are very professional and friendly.

Needed towing before 6am and he came within the 15 mins that he said he would. Thank you!

No one *wants* to have to have their car towed, right? But if it’s necessary, these are definitely the folks to call! I’ve had my Ford Explorer towed twice in as many days by Performance Tow and couldn’t recommend them any higher. Not only were they prompt and friendly, but they were professional and able to park my dead Explorer in a very tight parking space at my apartment complex without batting an eye. This morning, when the vehicle needed to be towed *from* that very tight space to an auto repair shop, they were able to extricate it so easily that it might as well have been parked in an empty lot! They also tried jumping the vehicle for me before towing it, which is something the original emergency roadside service that came out neglected to do! Thankfully, my roadside service has a contract with Performance Tow so I *know* who they’ll send if my car breaks down in my neighborhood and has to be towed somewhere. I only wish they would use these folks for their emergency service, as well!
