Surpassed all of my expectations for a place that delivers sushi. Let me start off by saying I was feeling extra lazy after a long day at work and decided to have sushi delivered. I was filled with trepidation, wondering if I had made a mistake ordering sushi to be delivered to my house. They say you’re not living if you’re not taking risks and boy, did this risk pay off. Ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner and 2 sushi rolls(49er and Dragon Roll) for the wife and I to share. Teriyaki sauce was a little unconventional consistency-wise but tasty. The gyoza was delicious. And not to mention the actual sushi was flavorful, fresh and they provided plenty of ginger(of which I am a self-admitted addict). Overall a very pleasant experience and will order from again in a pinch(or moment of laziness). Minus one star for the rice in the dinner. Stickiness factor was like a –5. And last, but certainly not least, it was, no joke, delivered withing 30 minutes of me ordering. Check this place out.

Good service and nice people but they got my order wrong twice. I had ordered to-go and the waitress came back to where I was waiting to make sure the order was right. I pointed to the item on the menu(spicy tuna tempura roll) and heard her correct it with the sushi chefs. Then I got home and it turns out there was fully cooked chicken in the middle of my roll instead of tuna. Ok, one mistake, that’s not a big deal but then I opened my tempura and it was soggy; I live 3 mins away, no way it could’ve been the travel time. The tempura batter was very egg-y and less crunchy. Maybe it was an off day but I probably won’t be returning. I will take some responsibility and say I should’ve opened the to-go bag and shuffled through all the to-go boxes to make sure my order was correct before leaving.

Average in every sense of the word. Not great, not bad, just ok. If you’re craving some sushi or teriyaki bowl and it’s past midnight, you can do a lot worse.

I would say for being open until 2:00 am on a Thursday, this place is adequate. Good food, fast service and easy access to the airport. They have a roll that has strawberries, mangos and cream cheese. Definitely try that out. Amazing.

I found this place on Unilocal.I was very pleased with the food and now I’m a regular customer. When you dine in you get a lot of free extras i.e. edamame, hot tea, and fruit; the service is also good. The best part is they’re open til 2.

A sushi place opened til 2am? Whaaaat? No way. They serve Korean food too like bulgogi, galbi, etc. We came here solely for the sushi. Barely anyone inside and service was extremely slow. We ordered two rolls and it took over 35 minutes to make… yikes. We filled ourselves up with the teapot of barley tea they gave us while we waited. We ordered the 49er roll and the penthouse. The 49er roll had piece of salmon on top w/lemon with crab and avocado inside. I didn’t like this all that much. The penthouse was tempura shrimp, crab, crunchy flakey pieces, and I believe unagi sauce. I really like sushi with that extra crunch! The pieces were awfully small. There wasn’t anything too amazing about them. They didn’t taste all that fresh either… The quality and flavor of the sushi did not make up for the long wait unfortunately. Not something I’d exactly come back to. But if you’re cravin sushi late at night, it might be the perfect place for you!

Lion King Roll. mmmmmmm. The chef himself delivered the sushi to my doorstep. Can’t get much better than that.

I was actually surprised when I searched this place on Unilocal and saw that it had less than perfect reviews. I’ve ordered from here using grubhub(Eat24 tells me that they don’t deliver to my address, but Grubhub allows it?) about 6 times in the past few months. My husband and I absolutely love sushi, so we are always looking for new and better places to go. However, we plan to continue as regulars at this place. The fish is always fresh, the rice is tasty, and the delivery time is fair. I’ve never gone into the restaurant to sit down and eat, however, the customer service that I have received over the phone and in person with the delivery employees has been superb. We usually get the same person delivering our food every time we order at night, and let me tell you, he’s super sweet! I highly recommend this place, especially for those who are looking for a place to eat past 9pm outside of the city.

This place surprised the heck out of me! I crave sushi something fierce and after working an extra shift one night, I needed to reward myself with sushi. I’d planned on picking some up from Safeway because I didn’t figure anything else would be open. I mentioned my sushi need to coworkers and one suggested we find something open late. Ninja sushi won the draw. I’m going to be honest and say I wasn’t expecting much. Any place open past 11 should raise suspicion especially a sushi joint. While the place itself isn’t much to stare out, but sushi ended up being way way better then I’d anticipated. It could’ve been the company and hunger working in tandem, but I really enjoyed absolutely everything we tried. I wanted a return visit just to see if it would be as good(especially since I needed it to go). This time I ordered a carburetor and a fire cracker roll and both were very good again. So I guess I gotta give up the props. They have a house sauce on certain rolls that’ll make you taste buds wiggle. Go with the right group of people on a late night food run and I may surprise your mouth with awesome.

We were in search for late night food after going to a concert in the city. This was one of the places that popped up on Unilocal.Luckily, we called to make sure they were open. Sure enough, they were so we drove on by. I was a little confused when I saw that the menu had both Japanese and Korean options. That was a little strange for me, but it was good since half of us ordered from the Japanese menu. The food is decent, and it’s definitely a lot better than your fast food joints like Jack in the Box. This wouldn’t be my first choice, nor would I choose to come back here again. It just happen to fit the bill for what we were looking for at that time. Luckily we didn’t have trouble finding parking since it was so late. Though I would imagine that it would be a bit more difficult during regular business hours to find parking.

Ordered with Eat24 and food got here quick! Probably helps we’re just down the street. Basically, I wouldn’t choose Ninja if I had a choice. They’re open late with decent reviews so we gave it a try. Two rolls, shrimp tempura, miso soup and chicken wings later… I was bummed. Full. But bummed. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a sushi snob like me. Maybe next time I’ll try their entrees. They get an extra star for late hours.

This is an interesting establishment to say the least; a japanese restaurant that opens til 2am?! I’m in love! I’ve actually been a customer here for some time now but I’m finally writing a review after several visits. Besides the great hours of operation(5pm-2am daily), the food itself is not shabby at all. I’ve tried everything from sushi, to sashimi, to entrees, noodles, and appetizers. Everything was pretty constant and deserving of a 3 – 3.5 star rating as far as the food is concerned. However, because of the aforementioned hours of operation, I was adamant in bumping up the rating to a 4 star establishment. Also, service is always consistent and attentive which is another up side to this restaurant. So if you’re ever craving Japanese at a late hour and find yourself in a bind, ninja sushi is the way to go!

I’ve never heard of a sushi place being open passed normal business hours(like around 9−10pm) but Unilocal said this place was opened till 2am so I took a gamble and went with it. My boyfriend and I came here one night. I’m not entirely sure why we ended up getting food so late, but I’m somewhat glad that Ninja sushi was opened late enough to help satisfy some cravings. Really, it was either this place or Denny’s, and my boyfriend didn’t seem so keen on that idea. Ninja Sushi is located on San Mateo Ave. right across from Artichoke Joe’s casino. Parking is all on the streets and limited to 1 or 2 hours, I can’t really remember. But there’s no need to pay so cheers to that. Going inside, we were immediately greeted by the sushi chef and the waitress and we had to wait a few seconds for her to clean up a table in the big dining room, but no worries there. They give you some edamame to eat while you look through the menu. I ended up getting the chef sushi special of 4 nigiri + California roll and that comes with a soup and salad. My boyfriend ended up ordering the Gangnam style roll, spicy tuna, and fried calamari. The sushi itself wasn’t bad. My boyfriend said they were definitely doing the spicy tuna roll right here ’cause it was burning. Their fried calamari tasted a little burnt though which was a bummer. Prices are a little pricey, but I guess that’s how it is when you’re the only Japanese place opened passed 11pm. They also serve Korean food here which is pretty interesting. Overall, maybe come back? I’m not completely sure yet.

This place was GREAT! Seems like a younger guy started this who used to work at another Sushi place nearby. He did a really good job on this spot. Small little hole in the wall place with very good Sushi. Everyone says hi and goodbye. You really feel welcome in this place. Highly recommended.

I’m totally a regular here, they know me by face because every time I come I order the same thing. Korean spicy noodles and sushi. I love this place cause of the late hours and the good service. The soup is the best part to me. I like how when I come on my lunch break at work they’re fast and get my check quickly. The only thing is I wish they works make the sushi a tad bit thicker cut instead of thinly cut and large because when you pick it up, the sushi falls apart. But it’s ok otherwise.

I wanted something lighter for dinner at 10:30pm since my friends were going on a burger run so I decided to drop by here to pick up a Salmon Lover Roll for pick up. I called in and they said it was ready n 5 minutes which was perfect since we were 7 minutes away. Parking was easy to find and we got in, paid(with tax it was $ 13) and then got out. We picked up everyone else’s burgers and went back to eat. The Salmon Lover Roll was simple and delicious with fresh salmon and avocado. The roll did have a little big more rice but it really hit the spot for me. Now I have a go to dinner place if I ever feel like eating Japanese or Korean since I love the fact that they close late; at 2pm! I would definitely come back to try their other menu items!

A sushi restaurant that is open until 2AM? Can it be? Do not be fooled, they also serve Korean food here too! I often come here when it’s late at night when most sushi restaurants are closing/closed. The service here is great and we are always greeted and offered tea every time we come here. It would usually just be us, or one or two more parties, but I’ve never seen this place packed. The food itself is decent. There is nothing spectacular or over the top with the food items we ordered. Most of the sushi rolls are«americanized» with lots of mayo and cream cheese. I’ve ordered some rolls and sashimi here, and some tofu soup. But overall, this place will make your cravings content.

It was such a blessing to find this place after our hell of a flight to San Francisco at 12AM.(Long story short, we were supposed to be in Sacramento but flight delays prevented us from being on schedule… Frustrations ensue.) Most places were close, and my family was craving Asian food. #TYBG for Unilocal,we found Ninja Sushi. After getting situated with our rental car, we get to Ninja Sushi at 1AM. Instantly, everyone was welcoming despite the late hours. Our waitress was so incredibly charming and polite!!! Their service is quite fast too. We received our 4+ dishes of food in less than 15 minutes. I got the original soft tofu soup and ITWASDELICIOUS! So warm and perfectly flavored. My dad ordered the K-BBQ ribs and that also was delicious. It came straight from the kitchen sizzling and right away, it looked appetizing. If you order from their Korean menu, you’ll get the basic Korean side dishes. So so yummy! It was the perfect meal to a frustrating day. I wish I could go back one day the next time I visit San Francisco. I want to try the sushi!

Ordered late night delivery as I was packing my stuff, and because the combo of my stupid apartment and stupid phone with stupid AT&T coverage yields zero signal in my house and a 100 calls gone missing every single day, I didn’t receive a call from the delivery guy when he had arrived. And there’s no way to get in the building without me going outside, but somehow he had gotten in and rang my doorbell. Most folks would have been pissed, but this delivery man was so unbelievably nice and said that he called 5 times and I felt so bad. I wish I had cash to tip him an extra $ 20 for his kindness, which is so rare these days. As I said bye, he bowed to me a few times as he backed away from the door. I was like omg. I bowed too and did the namaskar hand gesture. Now that’s what I call a cultural exchange! Ok, now on to the food. Just note that my rating for the actual food is probably around 3.5 stars because well it’s not exactly«authentic stuff», more like late night Americanized rolls doused in mayonnaise and Siracha sauce. But being the ignorant redneck that I am when it comes to East Asian food, and seeing Siracha mayo slathered all over my Lion King Roll like Simba slaying a sushi dragon(wtf?), I dig it. Sushi roll looked like a friggin pizza. I added 2 stars for the delivery man. I hope you understand. Why was he so nice? As I am about to leave SF, I STILL wonder about this(please read my Rice & Roll review I wrote when I first moved to SF).
