Though the location is convenient and always clean, the counter staff leave a lot to be desired. They are unsmiling and brusque. Two simple sandwiches were ordered, and one arrived WAY before the other, so one of us is just sitting watching the other eat. REALLY?

The food is great, had the patty melt with fries very yummy and delicious. the service is not great the girl that took our order looked like she was ready for a break, looked like she didn’t want to be here. And there was only a few customers the floors were pretty dirty and filled with food. Foods great aviance can use help and customer service a lot of help!

This little place received a huge buzz from a handful of fellow bus operators. I had to try this place. I ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger onion rings and a medium coke. I spent about $ 9.01. A little more expensive then I expected. The menu was basic just like every other 1980’s menu. The staff was rude and impatience. My onion ring fries were cold my burger was warm if I wanted coldish food I would have went to subway or the 7 – 11 across the street. This place is packed with people I’m assuming these are local people supporting the small business. But I have a taste for a good meal or at least by far a hot meal. I doubt I’ll be back unless everything around me closes. Or they decide to make something else.

The food here reminds me of a mediocre cafeteria food. You know cheap… greasy…and basic. The menu board looks like something out of the 80s.(Old school). There is indoor/outdoor seating. Booths and regular tables are available. Parking lot is pretty big. My friend ordered popcorn shrimp and chips and got mini shrimp the size you get in instant ramen in thick batter :(and plenty of super double… Triple fried French fries. so hard you can crack a tooth(uck) I shared a fish sandwich and it was decent. Also ordered zucchini fries… pretty basic. Service: You get a number and they bring the food to you. Asked one of the workers for a knife and she didn’t understand English. So we had to point to what we needed. She was nice though :) Hmmm… Will I come back? Hell no! Overpriced greasy… basic food!

We have been coming here for 10+ years. I don’t understand some of the complaints. We have never gotten cold food, never had a rude waitress or cashier(most of the staff have been there for the same 10+ years), never had food poisoning. The breakfast are enough for 2. We usually get the sausage & eggs and split it. The soups are homemade and amazing and very inexpensive. The vegetable soup has more vegetables than broth. The lentil soup is delicious. Lunches we always have enough to take some home. More french fries than 2 can eat. When we get the pastrami sandwich, we split it, take more than ½ the meat out and take it home for at least one more meal. Amazing quantities of food for the price that is charged.

I’m just not impressed. Grilled chicken sandwich for $ 6 and the taste is inconsistent. Sometimes you get a thick juicy chicken breast and other times its think and you can tell it’s been cut off from another piece then it’s dry. I’m not going to pay $ 6+ for something that only tastes decent half the time. Some of the people that work here are ghetto and the bathroom is dirty. Not feelin it.

I just ordered a small chef salad. The thing was 7 bucks and it was small. It was also a joke of a salad. None of the variety of veggies you get with a normal chef salad. It was the same crap they put on the burgers. And the«meat» and«cheese» was low grade walmart lunch meat. I ate about half before I gave up. Stick to the burgers. I wonder how much a large would be? Just a giant version of a weak pathetic«salad». Do us a favor, take that thing off the menu please. I also think the cashier was asleep with her eyes open. Vicky, what were you thinking?

I just started coming here. The food is good. I like the grape juice they have. The burgers are great but nothing different from other places. The only thing that bothers me is the workers. I’ve came about five times and only felt welcome by one. But I haven’t ate here to know exactly how they are. And even when I’m looking to see what I would like to order I feel them staring at me and I feel rushed. I would say they just need to make me feel welcome and not annoyed. I understand it’s work but I have to do the same thing at my job.

Three of my coworkers ordered lunch today. One had the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger and two others shared the Turkey Club and zucchini. About an hour later they’re all throwing up. I called and spoke with Vicky herself and she said«What can I do about it? You all had different things. There’s a flu going around, everybody’s getting sick.» Exasperated, I confirmed, «So we can’t get our money back?» She said«No because you can’t prove you got sick from eating here.» Really? You can’t prove that? Two of my coworkers shared the club and had the same symptoms as one did with the burger. I used to like this place. I will never recommend this place to anyone(which I did with my coworkers and now I feel terrible), nor eat here ever again. Vicki you are one class act. To quote my coworker who’s going home sick«I hope Vicky eats one of her own burgers and gets the shits.» I concur.

I used to go to Vicky’s for at least a year in a half, but they are pricey and disappointing so I no longer come here. Their cheeseburger combo is about $ 8.50 which to me, is expensive. I’ve also had their club sandwich and that was good the first few times, but it has gone down in quality. They were consistent on their large chicken salad, but of course, it’s on the pricier side. Ranch is .50 cents, which makes sense since every«mom and pops» places charge extra for a side of ranch. They do have breakfast burritos that are delicious, just remember to ask for extra salsa. Anywho, this place is ALWAYS busy during lunch time, do call your order in or just don’t go there. The real reason I gave this place 1 star is the service. The service is non-existent here. Don’t expect to go to Vicky’s to get friendly customer service. Ever. The cashiers/order takers/waitresses are the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. When taking your order they make it seem as if the customer is a nuisance. And don’t go through the drive thru line, it’ll take at least 20 minutes to get through. If they could just improve on their service, I’d at least go back for the breakfast burrito.

My husband and I went here this is our first time. I ordered s chorizo burrito and my husband ordered a sausage burrito and 2 coffees. The burritos came with cheese, potatoes and eggs. When they dropped off our food they didn’t tell us who burrito was whose. So we had to ask. I asked if the burrito I had was the chorizo burrito and she said I think so. A couple bites in and I noticed it wasn’t my burrito it was my husband and it took me away to realized because it was mostly potatoes and cheese. The burritos were very very dry. The coffee tasted like hot water. I didn’t like the food at all. I will Not be back

Food was tasty, but we had ordered a salad and we waited over 20 mins for it and had to ask 3 times. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.

Is there a better spot for breakfast??? I think not, I eat here at least 2 times a week and usually it’s always breakfast. They have amazing pastrami sandwiches as well even if they forgot to take off the mustard for me sometimes. They aren’t open late and close early in weekends so get down there before its too late

Lemme start off by staying this place USEDTO be a 4 star joint… I regularly ate here many years ago(like 10) yeah I’m that old… went up and down the menu MANY times… Well after a LONG leave I decided to come back. My go to meal here was either wings or the chicken salad… today we got a bacon breakfast sandwich and my long loved chicken salad… Man that chicken salad had changed. The portion is about ½ what it used to be and it’s garnished differently… not what I expected and pretty let down to be honest… the chickens flavor was there but the salad wasn’t what I knew it could be… the breakfast sandwich was pretty good but not great. I was so disillusioned I wanted to give them 2 stars but the food is still decent lol.

I meet my parents here because it is about half way and this is the place they choose. The food is good, we especially like the biscuits and gravy! My biggest complaint is it is a little pricey for a little hole in the wall. I paid almost $ 40 yesterday for breakfast and I am not at all sure how, what my parents got was $ 5 each, mine was $ 7 and I drank water. I am a coupon girl. I probably should have asked if they offer a senior citizen discount? lol Either way, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Chicken burrito was pretty good but I only got half way through because it was massive! Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Zucchini sticks and fries were not good. They were hot but bland, didn’t bother going past the taste. Drive thru was sooooooo slow. Should have listened to other Unilocalers!

Vicky’s Restaurant is deep in the heart of San Bernardino. My lunch partner and I stopped here briefly on our return to LA. Prices are very reasonable and the service is fast. There are a lot of tables. It’s easy access.
