Nail Time

I love how my nails came out. A man and his wife run this place and they were both very polite. I loved the service here. This will be the nail place I come to. Their tools are very clean as well! I recommend this place if you live near the area :) they are open Monday through Saturday at 9:30am till 7pm I believe.

Great salon. I recently moved to the area and needed a new mani pedi place. Vincent and his wife are so great. They work very hard and I love that I can support a small business. If you plan to go in on a weekend, call first for an appt. They are a small shop and can get very busy on the weekends. My manicure and pedicure lasted almost a month too!

Wow this place is ghetto! Went in for walk in pedicure and the lady asked to see my toes first! I was llike??? Then the other person doing nails said do you have ingrown toenail? OMG… then i said no! Then she sat me down on a nail chair and said she’d have to do it on the floor because their spa chairs were broken… Wow.

Horrible experience from the beginning!
I’ve been meaning to write a review on this place but have been very busy. The experience stayed with me though, and would not let me forget. I live in Los Angeles and was in San Bernardino visiting family and found this shop online.
I sat down and told the female tech what I wanted done: a pedicure and fingernail gel polish removal. The owner came out of the back and they spoke in their language and then he asked me to pay first. I told him I was not getting my fingers done so it wasn’t necessary (because I’m used to only being asked to pay ahead of time if digging in my purse afterwards would ruin my manicure). He then proceeded to tell me it was their policy for new customers to pay ahead of time. I told him I’ve never heard of such a policy where you have to pay before your service. I was a bit annoyed but I pulled out my card. He goes on to explain that they have customers run out without paying and that there is a lot of crime in the area and that is why they made the policy.
While I am getting my nails done a customer walks in and makes it clear it is her first time so I listen to see if his «policy» was enforced. To my surprise, it was not. The woman was caucasian and I am African. They have every right to their policy but the blatant discrimination was extremely unprofessional and racist! I let the tech finish and she took my receipt before I entered the tip amount. I told her I needed it back and put a big fat ZERO on the tip line and told her exactly why. The owner heard me and interjects with «that’s fine.» No apology for the disrespect. Nothing.
I’m not surprised this place was empty when I walked in. My pedicure was average at best and the owner is very unprofessional and profiles it’s customers. I do not recommend going here.

These people were the rudest people I have ever come in contact with, in a business establishment! Called in and maybe for a pedicure. When I get there the place is empty. They man and woman double team me and ask, «what you want!, you call in?» Now I’m flustered… they don’t want to show me polishes. Lady says she can’t do a french tip w/​silver tips. Tells me to go back wherever I got my fingernails done. WOW!!! Then husband starts in with, «yeah, bye.»
Question? Is this a business to provide a setvice and make money? Did the sign say professional, walkins welcome? (Eventhough I did have an appointment)

Really bad. Asked for extra massage and the lady said NO!!! Horrible. Dirty. The spas dont get sanitized. They just get sprinkled with little water. Stay away

Yes, I am a well educated college student and I was not paid by someone else to write this review. That was an honest review and my nails came off in just a few days. As a «good» customer I told the truth and I don’t believe that I did anything wrong. I’m sure that many other people believe that your nail salon is top notch, but to me I have received better service other places. That was my opinion and if anything that is what Unilocal is for. For you to call me out and say that I was «paid by other nail salon to sabotage our business» and that It was «low for a well educated college student» to do is unprofessional to me. When I walk into a nail salon, restaurant, store, etc., I expect good quality and service and I’m sure that anyone else or you would understand that. I picked this nail salon because I saw the good ratings on Unilocal.And if anything, I left you guys a very good tip because I felt that your business was worthy of it. Please, feel free to contact me so that I can come in to talk to you and your wife in person.

I first went to Nail Time a few weeks ago. It’s a Mom/​Pop shop like many nail salons. The gentleman who did my nails the last couple of times is an artist! My nails look almost real! I am very pleased with my fills, etc. The lady has only done my pedicure a couple of times so I can’t say for sure how technically proficient she is. The place is quiet and clean and the price is about the same as other nail salons. The only thing I don’t care for is that the shop is kind of dreary. But most nail salons are nothing to write home about in terms of ambiance either. I recommend their service and will go back.

I just went for my first time! They are a husband and wife team. They are very professional. Vince was personable and was easy to have a conversation with. I love this place. They are also very reasonable in prices, and my nails look great! I highly recommend them.

I’ve been going to them for over 5 years now. I went to two other salons around the area before I settled to this place. First place was way over priced and second was dirty and did horrible job. Nail Time’s prices are reasonable, nice people. I always call to schedule an appointment, so I don’t have to wait.

I live at calstate. reason why i went to this place is because of the reviews above. I have to say its the worse place i ever been to. I went in at 940 am Sat and there were 2 people working and customers were coming in 2 of their customers left. anyway the Viet lady who did my nails did the worse and crappy job ever. my right hand nails were cricket, i was not alone i also recommend my roommate to get our nails done and her nails were cricket too done by the same lady, yet my roommate had to wait 25 mins to get her nails done. About the price, its way too pricey i got done full set starting at 19 dollars i asked for medium size nails and charge me 25 dollars, with no design, reason why because she said the nail length. My roommate had short nails, french tip and was charged 24 dollars. really? I have done my nails in the HD I always ask my nails to be medium small length full set for a total of 22 dollars plus tip. This place totally not worth it.

I love this place! Vince is so professional, friendly and quick. My hands look very professional and fills last for two weeks. I seem to go at the right times because I never have more than a 10 minute wait. They are closed Sundays.

I loved this place when I was in school at CSUSB. My roommate and I used to go about every 2 – 3 weeks and we always left with smiles on our faces. Vince and his wife always did such a good job. This is the one place I found while at school that was comparable to my favorite place in Palmdale.

Absolutley love this place!!! I’ve been going to Vince since my jr yr of hs, and years later, I’m still raving about this place. I no longer live in SoCal, but still say this place is the best place to get UV gel. I’m having a hard time looking for another nail salon around the area I currently live in due to the standards I’ve set after getting pampered by Vince.
