My car stalled out and AAA came out to help. They told me it was the alternator. I called around and shops wanted up to 700 to replace my alternator! The AAA guy recommended them. They charged $ 75 for a repaired alternator. AAA towed me home and my brother helped me replace the alternator in a matter of hours. All we did was trade in our old alternator and they handed us a repaired one. No waiting! These guys really saved me. Got my car running again and they were able to save my budget!

This is my Father-in-Laws battery/alternator spot. He recommended them to us, $ 30 used batteries, $ 50 new batteries. Not bad, so we took our old battery in. We drop it on the counter and tell the Dude we need a new battery. He tells us that they dont have anymore new batteries, only refurbished batteries, and that that would be $ 30. «OH, too bad we need a NEW battery,» I said, as I looked at all the batteries on the shelf still wrapped in plastic. «Hold on.» he said as he walked two-feet to the shelf with the new batteries on them. Picked one up immediately and put it on the counter. «Well what do you know?» A new battery. Paid, got our reciept, and left. I dont know if this was a little misunderstanding, or if they are trying to offload their used batteries, but it came across as deceptive at first. It wouldn’t make a lot of sense, because every other battery shop I’ve ever been to pushes the NEW batteries not the other way around. In any event, the purchase was still a great value, the battery works great, which accounts for me adding a 3rd star. If I do ever come back, I know to question any issues I may face.

Imma be straight and clear. this place it is wonderful for rebuilding alternators and generators that you require for older vehicles you can’t replace any longer. If you are looking for a cheaper method of fixing your vehicle this will be the only one in rough times but I still recommend you if you can afford it to find yourself a lifetime warranty. So you’re done and dealt with. Their one year warranty is great but not lifetime. now it is cheaper sometimes to rebuild your A/C compressor than buying a new one. Most of the times if it’s going to go out it will go out within the year so that one year warranty should cover you. If it lasts more than a year than it’s going to last about 4 – 5 years like any standard new one as long as you maintain your AC system yearly. Hope this helps somebody out.

Great customer service… Affordable prices… They have refurbished battery and brand new battery at a low price… They rebuild other stuff too… Will definitely come back if I ever needed a alternator for my car.

Had a bad feeling after reading some Unilocal reviews — but still went there because I was in a time crunch to get my starter rebuilt and get back on the road — let me just say — I will never be going back there again — don’t do what I did and ignore the negative Unilocal reviews because they are probably — after my experience — a lot more accurate than the positive ones!

Ok, I am a bit biased. My brother went to school with the owners daughter. That being said… I ADORETHISPLACE! I have brought several cars in to the shop with problems from alternators to tune ups to smog repairs and more and have not been disappointed ONCE. They can usually see you that day(Or early the next day). They are a good, thorough auto shop. Even for a girl. lol
