I donated blood here on Saturday and had an awful experience. This was my second time and since I had no problem with the first blood donation (not here), felt like this was going to go smoothly as well. There was a little pain with the needle prick but that happened the first time so I was expecting that. The problem was that I felt really light headed and after telling the nurse this I was told they had to re-​position the needle during the donation process to reach the vein and that feeling light heading can be one of the symptoms. Well, after waiting the appropriate time to leave, my husband and I stopped off at Costco and I passed out when I got to the car. Luckily my husband was driving because I passed out again and ended up throwing up as well. Did they take too much blood or what? I will not be returning here.
