Lakeview Cafe

I went there and immediately noticed that they were a little bit confused about the outside patio. Seemed like they didn’t know who was really taking care of each table. As I sat down, I noticed that about 5 raw beef patties were on the BBQ grill in the sun, but the BBQ was not turned on. I thought to myself «the BBQ grill must be broken, they will throw away the patties later and just cook inside». I ordered a corned beef sandwich which was okay (i was really hungry, so card board would have been suffecient). Everyone elses meals were just «okay» (burger, satay sandwich that looked a little dry, and a vegie burger). 40 minutes later, as we paid got our bill, I notice the 5 raw patties were still on the grill. Soon after, a guy came out and fixed the BBQ grill and continued to the cook the patties that were sitting on the cold grill for over 40 minutes. He reached into the cooler that was sitting on the ground, and pulled out some rubbish (used paper towel and a empty bag of chips). He then pulled out an additional 5 patties from the same cooler (not even sure the cooler had any ice) and cooked those along with the 5 other ones. After it was all done, he put all 10 patties in a bowl and brought it inside. I don’t know about you, but I would not even dare to eat patties that were sitting in the sun for over 40 minutes, even if they were cooked. Who knows, they could have been sitting there even longer since we did not get there till 2:30pm. They could have been sitting there from lunch. Ewwww.

This place has gone through major change! Never had such bad service and food. My turkey sandwich was unedible, my wifes breakfast sandwich was delivered cold and my son’s grilled cheese was burnt black. We aren’t one’s to complain so I shared my wifes cold sandwich and we scraped the burnt bread with a butter knife to make it more edible for our son. When the waiter did finally come back to give us the bill I mentioned that the turkey sandwich was extremely hard and rubbery, so I couldn’t eat it, he said he would comp us my lemonade ($ 1) for our problem. I said for him to take off the sandwich since I didn’t eat it! He said he could not do that.
I’ve never had such lousy service or food in my life. I will never return there… Yuck!

You go to Arrowhead, and the locals there are so stuck up. They treat you like an untouchable. But there is a place were you can avoid that. This little café overlooks the lake, and hospitality was the key to making it enjoyable. Spencer treated my daughter with total respect, and even knew she was from out of town. Why? Because she was not a snot nose teenaged girl. She ordered a cheeseburger that came with avocado, chips and drink. The water was semi filtered, but in up in Arrowhead the tap water is far superior to bottle water. I mean, you can’t get an better than the source of the bottled water. They ran out of avocados, and rather than saying sorry, no avocados, he went across the hot parking lot, to the grocery store, came back with avocados, and even gave my daughter a price break for the inconvience.
Price was, he wasn’t cha-​chingiing you like they other places there.
