Great place to shoot, open area with very few people out. There is some garbage, which is a shame — but a lot of the cans and bottles make for good targets. Please clean up your trash though! This is a great alternative to formal shooting ranges, just be sure not to shoot close to others or by the freeway.

Nice alternative to going to a «formal» shooting range. It’s situated between public land(BLM maintained) and private land so make sure and check a map(available online) Very important that you Don’t shoot close to any of the roads or freeway, and stay away from the cell tower or you can be ticketed or fined. Otherwise there are no restrictions, no range master looking over your shoulder, bring all the steel core ammo you want It gets packed on the weekend so arrive early and make sure to shoot against the mountain, and spread out. Make sure and practice safe shooting, Be respectful, and mindful of others. Pick up your trash and have a good time, I always leave with more trash then I came with.
