Green Machine

This place is great! I called right at closing time on a Saturday afternoon thinking it was too late to at least drop off my lawnmower so I can have it ready for next week. Adam, the owner, told me to bring it on down. Score!
So not only does he leave the shop open past closing time to wait for me but he also even starts to repair my lawnmower! Right then and there, after closing time!
Double score!
Now that’s what I call great customer service. And check this out, it doesn’t stop there. Not only does he repair it he also throws in some complimentary services and sharpens my blade, changes oil etc. The whole nine yards!
Here I was just hoping he’d allow me to drop it off after closing time and he goes and repairs and tunes up the entire mower for me. TRIPLE SCORE!!!
I’ve brought other mowers to him before and his work is always top notch with a price that can’t be beat!
Do yourself a favor and come on down to Green Machine. Great quality work with great prices done in a timely fashion. Can’t beat it!

All I have to say is that you get what you pay for. The Craigslist advertises that the mowers are fully gone throughout new gas line and tuned up. I bough a mower here after I saw an advertise that they had a self propelled mower for $ 95 when I got there it just happen to be $ 170. I brought my old mower since they offer $ 25 as exchange. I was already there so i ended up paying that much. My old mower just needed to have a handle replaced but since I thought that I could get a new freshly rebuilt one for $ 95 I figured it was ok. I ended up paying $ 160 with the exchange of my old mower including taxes and I came home with a great running mower. Wrong!!! The mower transmission cable snap right off. I though well no big deal I can still start the mower and do my lawn. Wrong again! After 5 minutes the mower stop running. I inspected the mower to see if it was something I could repair. It happens that nothing that the add said about being tuned up and new gas line was true. The mower was leaking oil and the gas line was as old as the mower. I went back the next day to either exchange the mower or get my money back. To my surprise I was unable to do either or. The guy said no refunds! I was trying to explain to him that I had only been there the day before and that the mower only worked for 5 minutes. He didn’t care to work anything out. He wanted to give me a $ 89 mower as an exchange for the $ 160 mower that I payed for not counting the difference or the amount my old mower was $ 26 and he would call it even? I politely told him that that was no way to do business and that I didn’t want to end up taking him to court. His reply was. I don’t care if you take me to court my dad is a lawyer. Really? It’s really sad that this guy has a starting business and he has no clue how to build a business from the ground up. Costumer service is the key. Backing up the product you sell is number one priority. I noticed that there are some reviews here but it just happens that they are reviews from his wife and family. This is going to be my first trip to the Better Business Bureau. I am sure he may be illegally operating with out a license and if he has one it won’t last that long. I will also make a trip to court, not really for the money that I payed for but because of the arrogance of this guy. I am really sorry for his wife because she seems like a very nice lady and she did try to help out but the damage was already done. To make things worst when I went back he had my old mower for sale already. No time up, not even a new handle but just masked w new paint to make it seem newer. Very long story short make sure you inspect what you are getting. Start with the gas line to make sure it is new like he said it is. If it is not new you can imagine what the rest of the mower you are buying will be. Buyer beware!!! This is one of my first Unilocal reviews and I will say I doing it because I would hate someone else to be taken advance of. I will now just buy new from now on.
