Overall, good repair, fair price, but may need to call to get an update. I went to get a Canon SLR lens repaired. You pay a small fee for the repairman to look at it and then you get a quote. I was debating if to buy a new/used one or to repair it. I thought the quote was fair, I had checked around other repair shops to get quotes. Dependng on damage, lens repair is not cheap and sometimes it is cheaper to replace. They called with the quote and gave an estimated time. It took it a little longer than the estimated time and I had not heard back so I called and got an update. The lens works great and I’m satisfied. I told my co-worker about it, since its local to our work, and he also got his camera repaired there. He uses a fixed zoom lens. The shop shares space with the pawn shop so you just ask for help with camera repairs. I thought staff was helpfull. Overall good service but one star docked for updates.

Everything took longer than they said. It’s a pawn shop with a tiny camera repair area. Scary neighborhood. And my lens broke again shortly after they«fixed» it. I decided it wasn’t even worth calling them back to say it wasn’t fixed. I went because it was convenient, confirming I’m the fool in this case.

If you are a professional photographer stay clear of here, horrible customer service, I was told I would be contacted in 3 – 5 business days for a repair quote and it took them over a week. Then the lady explains that it would be so much money but couldn’t tell me the specifications of why, so I nicely declined. They then took another week and a half to call me to come and pick up the lens that ended up not even having the body cap on it that was there when I dropped it off. They stated I didn’t have it on there, but it was on their paper that is was there. Save yourself the hassle and send in your gear

Unfriendly staff who did not call to let me know they had looked at my lens… I had to call them. They wanted $ 198.00 to repair a lens I could replace for $ 180.00. Overpriced.
