Not the same. Always out of something. A lot of items blanked out on menu. Slow service. They are in no hurry to get you your food.

Food TASTESDIFFERENT!:( I drove out to get some Asada burritos and a trash burrito. Sorry no chicharron, Sorry no pastor, Sorry no Tripitas… WTF! I used to recommend this place to all my friends; sorry Amapola, I’ll be going back to my L.A. Mexican spots. By the way, the paisa cooks were better at cooking. There was a lady cook that didn’t know what she was doing and prepared the burritos differently. Good luck Amapola!

This place is full of rude assholes. The customer service is horrible. We took home an incorrect order. They said we could come back and receive our correct order within 30 days. However, once we went back to claim this, the manager told us they couldn’t help us because the person we initially spoke to wasn’t there. Long story short, the manager there was rude. She asked me to call Claudia from the Baseline location and once I spoke to her, she was also extremely rude. I’m taking up the complaint with corporate. If they would’ve spoken to me nicely, I would’ve dropped it, but they acted like a bunch of dicks. We could care less about the incorrect order now because we are not going back there, but the managers really need to learn simple manners.

I purchased a groupon for this establishment. I heard pretty good things about this place. When we arrived to order, the young ladies attitude wasn’t the greatest but she was accurate. We purchased a bean and cheese burrito meal for $ 5.95, a carne asada nacho grande for $ 7.95, a large drink, and two tacos for $ 21.65. Not bad! The restaurant was pretty clean and we didn’t find anything in our food at the location in Colton. Overall, it was an average experience.

Ate lunch here today and tried the chili relleno burrito. It was actually delicious. Not the cleanest place in town but I will give it a 3.5 stars. The prices are reasonable and the staff was nice enough. I will go back in the future for another

I did not eat here regularly but when I do I’ve never had an issue with the food but today I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was dry which is very disappointing because I really enjoyed the food in the past hopefully it was just a one time thing.

The food is always great, but the line is always sooooo long. They are so slow. I once waited in the drive thru for 40 mins. I would of left but I couldn’t get out.

I ordered a torta from this place, the torta hardly had any meat. I will not be coming back to this place, not even with their groupon deal.

I eat at amapola when I’m in socal I live in Sacramento now and the Mexican food doesn’t compare so when I drive to Riverside my first stop is always amapola bean rice and cheese burrito with pork gravy inside. Absolutely the BEST !!!#

I enjoy the food here. It’s always fresh. I’ve eaten several different things. But I have always been pleased with the results. The crispy chicken tacos are my favorite. Then comes the special burrito with green sauce instead of the red. Just taste great together. Overall I think it’s just good authentic mexican food

The carne asada burritos are really good. Lots of flavor. Authenticity at its finest. What blows my mind is that they charge extra for beans and rice? Really? I never had just meat. Rice and beans are supposed to come with it! So yeah it’s unfortunate, I won’t be back. I see other good Mexican eateries nearby.

Okay, where do I start. I’ve lived in the city for many many years I moved out at 25 years old I’ve been gone since. I come back to see friends and family I always stop by this place because the food is amazing. everything on the menu is amazing particularly the hot pork burritos. I order 10 of these and I drive all the way home and put some in the freezer. i’m sure you get my point now on how good this food is.

I grew up eating here and the food is still great. The only thing thats changed is the workers and the utensils are now plastic. But all in all the food is still as tasty as ever. Try the next burritos with wet sauce. Its just so good.

I’m not going to say that this was the sketchiest place I’ve ever eaten a burrito, but the pregnant hooker winking at me lacivisiously, making come-hither gestures certainly brings it close(The winner of this category goes to Viva Burrito in Stockton, where I saw a man get held up at knifepoint for a plate of Carne Asada nachos. Admittedly, they were good freaking nachos). I’m not going to say that this was the best burrito I’ve ever eaten, although it was certainly excellent. What I am going to put the full weight of my belief behind is that without a doubt, this was the largest burrito I’ve ever laid eyes upon. While my reviews often trend towards hyperbole, I swear to the gods, my Chile Verde«Grande Burrito» probably weighed more then most premature infants. If left in its foil wrap, you could have mistaken it for a full-sized catfish or an fledgling sand worm. Cut in half, it was the size of two Mission-Style Super Burritos. It was 1⁄67th of my body weight when I brought it on my bathroom scale. I could not even imagine finishing this monstrosity, no matter how hungry I was. Size aside, it was a pretty good burrito. While I loved the spicy, flavorful Verde sauce, and the chunks of tender, succulent pig, entirely too much of this sauce left the burrito flabby, and hard to handle. I found myself wishing for a little more of their fantastic rice, some more of Amapola’s pleasantly pasty beans, just a touch more pico de gallo. While the extraordinary amounts of melted cheese did no harm, a politely grilled tortilla didn’t offend me, and my god, did I love that every single bite was hot, having to spend most of my time sucking, rather then chewing on my burrito was off-putting enough to detract from everything else that went right in this monstrous slab. Will I come back for another? Hell yes. Will I ask for extra rice and beans? Absolutely, because burritos this good deserve a proper ingredient mix. A special sentence should be devoted to Amapola’s extraordinary, house-made agua frescas. Both the horchata and the pina were outstanding, not overly sweet, but extraordinarily flavorful. Overall: 4.5 Stars, a pretty outstanding burrito with a little too much sauce to stand on its own is saved by some outstanding agua frescas. A tale seemingly from Mother Goose, nu? Extras: Near Omnitrans 3, 4, 14 and Metrolink. Credit Cards(desultorily) accepted. All seating is outside. Extremely friendly service.

These tacos are sooooo good!(yes, I just copied my own tip) My nephew had been wanting tacos after I went taco crazy the past couple of days and he saw pictures of my other tacos. I work in different cities each day so I decided to give this place a shot since it was in the area and it has a drive-thru :-D The tacos seemed pretty pricey at $ 1.60 each, but as you may have read in other reviews, they double-tortilla(mini) the tacos so you can make two tacos from the plentiful meat inside. I’m very particular about tacos because I’m Mexican, and I’ve had them in Mexico so I know how they need to taste. Many places just give the bare minimum, but not Amapola! THEBESTCARNEASADATACOS I have ever had! The meat tasted fresh and charbroiled just enough to give them that smokey flavor. These were for my nephew but I took a bite :) I also got some Pastor tacos and a lengua(beef tongue) taco and they were super mega good! Sorry I didn’t take any pictures, but they looked so good that we just devoured them! I look forward to getting tacos from here again! A+++++++++++++
