Xtreme Piercing & Tattoos

They have amazingly talented tattoo artists, Redd is amazing at was he does as well as the other artists, I was blown away by their work.

I am kind of a stickler for customer loyalty, especially in regards to something as personal as body modification, so when I needed some new jewelry for my last piercing I went back here to Xtreme. I figured what the heck, and I went ahead and signed up for a lip piercing while I was there ($ 30). My biggest complaint will always be the store itself; there is something about the back room, with it’s unfinished partitions and uncovered rafters, that just seems very unwelcoming and unsanitary. The sales-​people were also very pushy this time, and instead of letting me browse or look around they immediately interjected and tried to direct me on what they thought I needed. Which, I completely understand that is their job description, but if someone says they are just looking please give them time to look.
My piercer himself, Mason, was a decent guy, albeit super awkward and talkative. I am sure that he gives many people great piercings, with stellar customer service, however as a very introverted person myself he did make me a bit uncomfortable. That being said, he did a good job and explained everything that needed to be explained.
The reason I am giving Xtreme two stars this time around, however, is due to the way my body handled the piercing. In under two hours, before eating or exposing the piercing to any outside hazard, my lip had swollen to twice its normal size and was seeping some really nasty bright-​green pus. This was not my first piercing, nor was this my first facial or lip piercing, and I have never had a reaction like this before. The reaction and experience I had makes me wonder if all of the utensils and jewelry used were in fact, sanitary. The same night that I had gotten the piercing, I had to remove it to soak the area thoroughly in a salt solution due to the symptoms I was experiencing. The following morning I went out, purchased and inserted new jewelry to try and save the $ 30 piercing. I have had the piercing about a week now, and it is no longer giving me any issue or showing signs of infection.

Got a nostril peircing here today. Very easy to find. Right next to sears in the ingram mall. Im not sure if they used better placement/​tools or if im desensitized because ive gotten this peircing before but there was significantly less pain during and after when getting the peircing here. Very quick and relatively painless! Highly recommend! Also they seem to be open the earliest as compared to most tattoo/​peircing parlors.
