A bit high on the prices but their staff has always been helpful and friendly. They’ve gone out of their way to honor their corporate website pricing even though they’re a separate franchise and privately owned. Recommended!

This place is simply awesome whether you are experienced pro or curious to start a new hobby they have everything. I wanted to get into making wooden pens and started here learning what all is needed and now I made everyone I know gifts for christmas. They have classes but most importantly the guys and Gal that work there love what they do and are eager to share their knowledge. Heck other customers are helpful in their. Note there power tools are the best brands they don’t sell the cheap stuff, mostly Jet, Powermatic, Porter cable, etc. I had to buy my Lathe Elsewhere couldn’t afford the best lathe yet.

Wow this place has everything for the wood working afficionado. There is a room with a stellar collection of types of wood from all over the world for frame, bowl and other craft making. I had to refinish a table and the stains here were a bit more expensive, but the staff explained what would work best and the table looks amazing. For the serious, the tools here don’t mess around. Routing tables, bandsaws, etc, with a more specific selection. They offer all different types of classes. I even saw one for wooden wine goblets. Walking around this store made me realize how much I don’t know! These guys are the woodcraft experts.

I felt a little awkward walking into Woodcraft because I have never been very interested in woodworking. My mother has her own shop set up and I sometimes I wish that I could make my own furniture. Most of the people in there were men in their later years, but that didn’t deter me from asking questions about what kinds of classes they offer to beginners. The service was great. He explained ever class to me and asked what exactly I was looking to learn. I told him I knew nothing. From there, he suggested a weekend course coming up in January about the basics of design of furniture. The course will cost approximately $ 100. Looking around, I was impressed by all the different machines, tools, and wood. Everything is in house so no need to head to The Home Depot. Woodcraft is a classy hobby shop for all ages.
