Victory Martial Arts – Shavano Park

Discipline, Confidence Respect just to name a few of the qualities and life skills that my children have learned in the couple of months we have been with Our Victory Martial Arts family. Mr. Wilson and Mr. Bautista are EXCELLENT with both Children and Adults. They treat everyone with respect.

My son started at Victory Martial Arts Shavano Park a little over a year ago when he turned 4. His self-​esteem has sky rocketed as a result and his shyness has turned to confidence. Upfront… yes a 3 year contract is required however from my experience with my son it is completely necessary. Kids go in and out of interested and not interested at this age. This is a black belt program and has taught my child a ton about character and discipline. If I had stopped taking my son the 1^st time he didn’t want to go he wouldn’t have learned these traits. His interest gets renewed every time he sees the results of his hard work. The Chief instructor is the best in the city and perhaps the state… in my opinion. You can look him up on
under Jeremy Wilson Victory Martial Arts. He is also amazing with children. He has a natural ability with kids earning their respect and teaching them discipline but also making them laugh. I find that it isn’t only about self defense and learning martial arts but also about building character which is priceless. I have checked out other studios in the San Antonio area and none even compare. This place is the very best for both martial arts and learning character. The equipment and uniforms are a little bit of an investment in the beginning however over all the program is reasonably priced compared to most other programs.

All four of us in our family (ages 7,9 and two adults) have been coming here for classes for almost 2 years now. It’s a fun way to stay healthy and active together. The staff has been wonderful to us and very flexible helping out with our difficult schedules! We love it!

The kickboxing classes are awesome! Bought a groupon and ever since I have been hooked. Classes are offered at a great time after work and the results are worth it. Dropped 20lbs in only three months! Wonderful instructors and a welcoming team environment! Def check it out if you’re interested in getting in to shape!
