The festival is ok the music is great but I did have one major issue. The people who organize and maintain this event are the biggest dicks. The security doesn’t even look in your bag or even pats you down its unsafe. Water stations are scarce and are always full of people. Every year it gets worse and worse the food the prices and my favorite part the security. The security and the entire venue is not accommodating to people with disabilities one of the guards pushed me when I was just minding my own business and I had open heart surgery a year ago. The company D.A.K that they use is a liability((Florida) west palm)

mc lars rockin’ edgar allen poe! Who knew that there was a white rapper that seriously does ROCK Edgar Allen Poe? He was great & very friendly. Signed a CD to my son :) Thanks! OK, so I have to admit, this is not my usual crowd & I hardly knew any of the music that played, but I had a great time anyway! I love to «people watch» and this was an interesting crowd for that small pleasure. And even though I wasn’t familiar with the music, I enjoyed many of the bands I heard. Of course, I had heard of one! Bowling for Soup! They were fantastic! Put on a great show, a bit of raunchy dialogue in between songs, but incredibly funny. Overall, this was a great day to share with my son & my good friend ;) Thanks! My only complaint, biggest complaint, was it was HOTAS&*77!!! But, what can you do about that, huh? Holding this event in the parking lot of the AT&T center on a day like this may have been a bit less than brilliant, but whoever organized it put some thought into it. They had plenty of water fountain stations set up for refills and to cool your head with a dip. They had a huge building set up with fans and people were lounged about on the concrete floors for an escape from the heat for a moment or two. They had medics everywhere and it was obvious a few people were overcome by the heat. Obviously hadn’t taken advantage of the water fountains in time.

Jeesh! It was HOT out for this event. HOT. But we had a blast! There was all kinds of acts with a fairly wide variety of music from rap to death metal. There were lots of free samples being given away! Each band had their own little booth set up, where they sold merch and gave away autographs to their adoring fans. It was cool getting to meet the bands, and let them know what we thought of their music! I LOL’d when I saw the ‘adult tent’ which was a tent showing a movie on DVD with AIRCONDITIONING! It was only parents who looked fairly miserable in there. In all, it was pretty EXTREME! There was lots of moshing, energy drinks, beef jerky, and loud, loud music. It rocked! I’ll be back!
