it is directly in the flight path. and by directly– I mean this place is located directly in the planes FINAL descent. at least 200 planes fly over everyday and everything shakes and it looks like they are about to land on the apartment buildings. Oh you want to sit by the pool or grill on a nice day and relax? Dont even try – your ears will be blasted with the sounds of jumbo jets flying right next to your head all day and night long. I asked if this place was quiet before i moved in– the apartment complex and the neighborhood in general, no one mentioned anything to me about planes. I get that I am suppose to do my due diligence as well, but I expect honesty to an extent, and not mentioning ROARING planes to me when i ask about peace and quiet is a MASSIVE overlook– you don’t just forget about this when a possible tenant asks about quietness – this was INTENTIONALLY kept from me. You can also hear everything through the walls– the real estate developer who built this place used the cheapest materials possible to put the buildings up quickly and charged high rent to make more money. OH and there is a dog in the adjacent neighborhood that barks CONSTANTLY and the owners do not tell it to be quiet. for this place being in the FINAL descent flight path, i dont think it is worth the money. Even if it was cheaper — you are still stuck with the 200 airplanes. Oh and I heard that if you live on the 4th floor that there are about 30HVAC units up there– and that certain units are stuck with loud humming noises ALL day from the various units kicking on and off. Since the rent is so high, it has pushed the crime out. So if they lower the rent, it will be crime ridden again AND still be in the flight path. But i can see why the people who lived in the building that was here before Urban Crest were so angry and violent before they were pushed out– the planes and barking dogs probably drove them crazy.
