This is a really well kept field — especially for one owned and operated by the city. Neither the outfield nor the infield seem to be torn up. No divets, or any holes to step into or twist your ankle on. Two sets of bleachers which are in nice shape and the lights work well(you have to turn them on yourself). There is a push button on a pole behind the red brick building.

Well maintained field. Good lighting. But the real deal is this field has it’s own Facebook page.

Let’s hear it for WAKA Kickball! We had our second pick-up game last Thursday and I have to say, it was a BALL of fun. He he *so proud of myself for that* Anyhooters, when we first arrived, the field was occupied by a softball group but as soon as we were on the field, the jello shots were out and so were the two teams. The scrimmage was ON. The lighting was fine this time around and the field definitely fulfilled our needs. The only downside: when you’ve been drinking(water or whatever your beverage of choice may be), the walk to the restrooms feels like a journey. So you better be ready to do your pee dance on your way to the potty. Just sayin.

Met here to play kickball after the sun went down. Unfortunately, the light were off when we needed them, and the gate was locked. We expect the next experience to go better.
