The UPS Store

This UPS Store is fast!
I went in to drop off a package, and they were able to get it scanned, weighed, stamped, etc in a very fast manner. The service was quick, fast, and efficient.
The store was a bit on the cramped side, but they still managed to get things taken care of.
UPS is a bit more expensive than the USPS, especially if you’re shipping books, but they can get them there rather fast. If you’re wanting to save money on shipping books, try out 4^th class media mail with the USPS.

My wife and daughter went in to mail some packages and were met with a very coarse attitude from the female employee working there about the services they could and couldn’t offer. I received a call from my wife and was concerned they would treat her this way. She added many customers looked concerned over the employee’s attitude.
I called to speak with a manager and was told he was with a customer. After holding for 3 minutes, I was told he would call me back immediately. I received a call about 15 minutes later from the female employee who treated my wife poorly. She tried to apologize by stating she was very direct as she is from a military background. I told her that I didn’t understand the confusion in her calling me as I was told the manager would be calling me. She told me he wasn’t in the office.
I reiterated that I wanted to speak with a manager, directly. She said that he would be in touch with me the following day. I was sure, at this point, they were covering for each other and I wanted to address my concern. 3 days have passed, no return phone call, one online customer service form has gone ignored, and I’m left utterly disappointed in what «customer service» has become.
Where is the attention, care, and general professionalism, UPS Store?

Since I’ve finally figured out how to sell my college textbooks, I’ve been here a lot lately. Using UPS is expensive but the service is great. The also can USPS anything you want too, just a little surcharge involved but the hours are better than a normal post office and so are the employees!
