The Little Church of La Villita was the perfect setting for our San Antonio wedding. Coordinating all the details directly with the church was a stress-​free experience. Rev Arthur Flores was a wonderful officiant and made sure our ceremony flowed perfectly from start to finish.

A little gem in the heart of downtown San Antonio, Texas! The Little Church of La Villita is nondenominational, so as a visitor I felt very welcome. Church services are still held here every Sunday at 11am, and Prayer Service on Thursdays at 11am. I loved the music which featured old time hymns and gospel songs. The musicians were fabulous. All of the regular attendees were so friendly. They have a lot of visitors so casual dress is definitely okay. I highly recommend The Little Church and the La Villita area… loaded with history and quaint little shops.

My husband and I were married at The Little Church 16 years ago. Beautiful ceremony. Lovely intimate setting. We then rented the Coss House right across the walkway for our reception. It was the perfect day! And I also suggest the Fig Tree restaurant for dinner.

Wow! Built in 1879, this church lies in the middle of La Villita and continues to hold nondenominational services on Sunday morning. During other times La Villita is open, it provides a quiet sanctuary from the bustle of everyday life. There may be crowds of tourists outside, but once the door is closed, silence permeates through this tiny church. It is a very simple church, yet so beautiful.

wonderful place to visit, its like a hidden gem in this city, most people will walk by … and when they do you will have to stop for a moment and appriciate its beauty. This little church lacks in size of the cathederal but compare to its beauty their is none. if you are ever in san antoino please if there is once place you visit let it be this.

This is an absolutely gorgeous church that I had never been to until I was a bridesmaid for a friends wedding. While it is very small, there are enough pews to seat a decent sized wedding party and still have that intimate setting. The church has been around since the 1800s so there is a really cool historic vibe as soon as you walk in. The stained glass window on the back wall is beautiful and an amazing background for the union of two families. Another really great thing about this church is that it is nondenominational so everyone can enjoy it.

This church is definitely little… but absolutely beautiful! I know of at least a couple of friends that have gotten married here and I have to admit, I’m a bit envious of that. They still hold mass here and the church has been kept up really well throughout the years. Not much to tell because you just have to experience it… there are no words to describe it all. =)

Mi encanta! I felt the history of this building the first time I walked in this small still active church. Now, mostly the congregation is full of visitors who still want to attend church while on vacation, but what a marvelous little church.
