The Bar On Broadway

I was there for the Frankenbike #33, but when I did have to go inside, the staff was very nice and friendly to me. I loved watching all the action at Frankenbike and want to thank the Owners and Staff of The Bar On Broadway for hosting the event. You were all very cool. I can’t wait for an opportunity to come see you all again.

The bar on Broadway has gone through many names. Its an enjoyable little dive. I recently enjoyed an evening listening to Tejano and people BS very loudly. It was as if I were at a family reunion in a dark bar with lots of drunk people.
As always, the restrooms were falling apart, shaking walls, with no hand towels. Frequent readers will know that’s an automatic star deduction in my book.
The second star deduction is the bar on Broadways lack of a hard liquor license. While most people enjoy the cheaper option of bringing in your own bottle and paying $ 2 for set ups (ice and soda), I like obeying the law to not drink and drive or drive with an open container. I know, I’m lame.
I did get hit on and was asked to dance so I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good time.
