Two employees of Thad Zigler were at the high-rise where I live at North View Towers replacing glass in a common area today 8/18…walking through, one gentleman was very very courteous and very professional stating it was OK to walk through there and to have a nice day! He was just very very professional and very friendly!!! I did not get a name all I know is he had a mustache and the other guy was very busy working! It’s nice to see companies who are out there working being that professional and that friendly!!!

NEVERUSETHADZIEGLERGLASSCOMPANY!!! On Saturday, June 6, 2015 I called Thad Ziegler glass company for an emergency service call. One of my employees had accidentally chipped a window glass pane at the home of one of our customers, while working on their home. I immediately went online to find a glass company that could come out and fix it. I called the emergency after hours number they took my information later an installer called me and actually went out to the job site. He said he was not able to change it because it had to be special ordered(which is totally understandable) but that he had measured and someone would contact me on Monday or Tuesday. Those days came by and nothing… I tried to be patient. I called several times the next week and left messages with all my information and no one ever returned my call. Three weeks later I stopped by in person(being that I drove in from Austin) and the location I stopped at said they had no idea what I was talking about and that someone from the downtown office would contact me. The downtown office contacted me at the end of the day and the only excuse they gave me is that they had written down my number wrong. Frustrated but still willing to give them another chance, I asked when the window would be available for install and they said the following week. The following week came and nothing… they said they would send someone out because the measurements were wrong, and to wait another week, another week went by and they said they couldn’t install the window because it had come in and they didn’t know where it was that it was possibly on another truck… to make a long story short today, August 5 I got a call asking for payment because the window pane was installed yesterday… when I asked what the cost would be and if they would be willing to give me a discount since they had made so many mistakes and took two months to install a simple window pane… the lady I spoke to coldly said«no…that is the final price». I WILLNEVERUSETHADZIEGLERGLASSCOMPANY, and will make sure others know of my experience. No wonder they are not rated by the BBB — Thad Ziegler I own a BBB rated business that prides itself in it’s integrity which you obviously have none… my customer was patient and so was I, but to not show any sign of an apology is bad business. I had to give one star but you deserve zero.

This company does not operate with integrity… they overcharge. They take advantage of the elderly. If they give you an estimate and call them the same day to tell them you found another vendor so no thank you, they will pretend the call never existed(although we have phone records to prove it), rudely threaten to charge you for orders you did not make(in our case an 80 year old woman) and we will be filing with the BBB. Sadly we were unaware of their reputation until it was too late and they had taken my elderly mother for a ride, scammed her out of money and were more expensive(by 44%) than anther vendor. Don’t trust!
