Taco Cabana

The service is really bad all day. Attitude comes Complimentary with every order. The food is good but its made with dirty hands. They always pretend their busy doing something else when thier is a line of people waiting to order. Hilary is the worst at this espaically around happy hour. She takes her time doing all the other things instaed of serving guest and taking orders then says opps it just ended. I WOULD GO TO TAMATILLOS JUST DOWN THE STREET. Until they hire people who take pride in what they do.

I personally LOVE TCs but this location SUCKS! It is barely midnight and they told me they are closed when the website and door says they are 24hrs. That is BULLSHIT such a shame what a let down.

I hate this location with a passion. Everytime I come to this location my order is wrong. EVERY. TIME. Also these employees are very disrespectful when it comes to what i order. I am vegetarian so I usually do not want meat in my order. They don’t understand that, and usually have a comment about my diet and how weird it is. No it’s not, it’s 2016. Vegetarian diets are nothing new. And if you ask for «NO PICO» that really throws them for a loop. Usually the order is covered in pico anyway. Like most people I do enjoy salsa with my tacos. That’s too bad, because at this taco cabana you have to work and beg for the smallest amount of salsa. And last this taco cabana will gladly take your order and charge you but only give you half of what you ordered. And when you go back to claim the rest of your order they are not sorry and don’t care. Most try to recharge me for something I already paid for. This place will RIP YOU OFF! In fact does a manager even exist for this place? The answer is yes and they DONT CARE. Most of the employees look like they didn’t graduate high school or look like crackheads. Burn this place down. It sux.

We caved and have gone back. Who doesn’t love this place? Still not better. Still mess up orders more than half the time. Their location makes them succesful, I assume, but as someone who lives nearby and frequents the spot, I wish they’d bring a leader in. It’s terrible. The service is beyond bad. They legit mess up orders regularly and if you bother to call a manager they say to come back tomorrow. I realize that’s all you can do at that point but after so many times… hello? We have been twice when they told us it would be a 20 minute wait because nobody showed up to work. Seriously? It’s a franchise. Someone please step in!

After waiting 20 minutes for a small order of sopapillas, i went to see what the hold up was. I found them sitting under the heat lamp and all dried out. When I asked why they never brought them to the table she said they didn’t have enough staff. However, I had seen them bringing food to the other tables around us. Plus they had given us a number to put up on our table so they could bring it to us. Either it was an off night for this crew, or a symptom of poor management.

I personally really like Taco Cabana, certainly this is no Cazadores but it’s also no Taco Bell either. I have yet to have a poor customer service experience at any of the locations I have visited and this location was no exception.
My order was for six individuals and the total was just around 32 dollars. Taco Cabana seems to run a special each week if you sign up for their email club, and often have a coupon for a free item.
I don’t know if people know but I recently found out that they serve alcohol and have a happy hour. As a mom I am always looking for a kid friendly place to eat with my family but also have a drink at the same time. This is definitely the spot for just that!

Taco Cabana is always a simple and good stop. I always go with brisket tacos and chicken tacos. Both in soft Shell. The nachos looked very tasty and I will probably try those next. A quality quick and healthy stop when I’m the SW.

This restaurant has a great location by the children’s museum Do-​seum, making it very convenient to walk here from there. They are always clean, and salsas always look fresh. Staff is friendly and very seldom ever get our orders wrong. I also like that it’s open 24hrs so you can stop by for a late night bite. Coming back here for they’re convenient location and good hours!

No hat or gloves while preparing food. Disgusting.
They put the drive thru orders in front of the people that park and get out of their car. I probably waited 20min for a quesadilla.

It’s my 3^rd or so visit and I would have given a four star but last night I had to wait 20 minutes for my food while they were not that busy and compared to other stores it didn’t look as good.
Worse of all, I got sick from it.
So this is one place I will not eat at again until. the health department visits them and checks out what is going on there.

The drive thru you can’t hear the guy and he doesn’t know his menu. Had to repeat myself multiple times. Bad customer service. Won’t be coming back.

The drive thru person could hardly speak English. I waited 4 minutes before I was greeted and she got my order wrong after I repeated it to her 4 times. Horrible!!!

While I wish the chips were slightly thinner, this is my go-​to when I need my taci fix and have limited time. Why? Service is really good at this location, always cheerful. Plus, the salsa fuego is terrific. And the margarita special during happy hiur is very hard to beat.

I hate this place. The service is always horrible. And they take a lifetime just to bring me a taco out.

Yummy tacos! I give it 3 stars because it could be cleaner inside, the birds were aggressive outside, the fixings bar isn’t labeled for us gringo types that don’t know which sauce is lava hot or mild, the drive-​thru doesn’t have a fixings menu so you don’t know what to ask to put on the tacos, and the portion size for a meal leaves me hungry.
All in all though I’ve been back 3 times already, so that speaks to the taste! A few improvements and it’d be right as rain.

I like this location.
They’re always fast and most of the staff is friendly. I have met a few that were pretty awful and rude. Usually pretty clean. Love that its open 24 hours a day. I have never had an issue with the food I order. I hate that they changed their tea. Its really gross now.
For a fast food place, this place is pretty great.

Who doesn’t love cheap drinks and discounted nachos during happy hour?! Granted this place can be a bit stingy with their chips when you order a combo, keeping in mind we are in a resecission, I still enjoy this location. Staff is friendly and food’s served hot and fast.
Dining room closes at midnight but you can still get your favs to go via drive-​thru. Aside from that it is standard Taco C business as usual.(if you’re looking for ²⁴⁄₇ dining room options, the closest is the San Pedro location across from North Star Mall).

Lets get this out there right now! IT IS FAST FOOD!
Now with that in mind, I say this place is really an awesome option. They serve a lot of vegetarian options and all their tacos are loaded with flavor! Even the tortillas are made fresh right there! Sure it might not taste as awesome as that little taco stand around the corner, but hey, its cheap and its fast food. Lets rate it for what it is.

Their frozen (lime) margaritas are great ($ 1.50 margs during Happy Hour — weekdays, ends at 7 pm). I’ve had the Street Tacos (chicken) at this location — they’re alright but nothing super tasty. Go for the cheap margaritas.
