This SB sucks!!! They parking suks, they close early & an employee saw me walking to the door and locked it literally as I was reaching to open the door.

The parking situation at this Starbucks sucks. You either park in the small parking lot(about 10 spaces) or in the front. There is no drive thru. I got a good spot so I was good but I can imagine for others who are constantly coming here. It was packed but it went by pretty fast. The service was friendly and the store remained clean. They were fully stocked of cups, coffee, and additional items you can buy. Usually every Starbucks I go to runs out of something or do not have it available. Fast and friendly service, no complains

Stopped of at the Starbucks by my house this morning and ordered a decaf coffee in the drive through. By the time I took my first sip I was already on the highway but that one sip told me I had a problem. It was regular, not decaf. Now I have now health issue that prevents me from drinking caffeinated beverages, it’s just a choice I’ve made recently. And I could have said, oh well, today I’ll have caffeine… But instead I stopped off at the Alamo Heights SB after dropping my son off at school and told them what had happened. I expected one of two things. First they could have just swapped it out and I’d be good to go. It’s just a cup of coffee after all. Or they could have said nothing they could do and I would have purchased another coffee from them and maybe gone back to my regular SB and asked for a refund tomorrow. But instead, store Manager Daniel Nava refunded my purchase, gave me a new decaf and gave me a gift card for a future order. He really went above and beyond and makes me wish I came to this SB more often. It’s amazing how customer service makes all the difference! Thanks Daniel!

The layout of this location provides a lot of different hangout areas, including a large and breezy front patio, making it particularly conducive to secluded studying, if needed. Along similar lines, this location is quieter than most others. Ultimately, the spaciousness and very relaxed atmosphere of this Starbucks puts it high on my list.

I like the location so close to my home. The coffee is exactly like the coffee I buy at the SB on my way to work. The only negative is I only frequent this SB on weekends because it is not located on my way to work.

The staff were friendly, the venue was clean, and everything went as expected. Parking is so-so, but not too bad.

It’s not one of the best Starbucks out there, but they do have a nice little outside area and most of the staff is pleasant. The inside is a tad dull though.

I came in and wanted to try something other than the Pikes. They recommended trying the clover coffee and it was the best I have had in a long time. They even gave me a coupon to try one of their spritzer drinks for free. They are great baristas and make my beverages consistently the same at this location.

Love this location! Parking is hard, but worth it. Find a good spot, get some coffee and walk around the area! This Starbucks has many niches you can go hide and read a book and write. Love it!

This is more like a 3.5 star review. I can’t bring myself to give it a full 4 because after all, it’s still a Starbucks. Good and reliable but nothing life changing about this place. The extra half star goes to the Clover machine. This is the closest Starbucks to our house that has it. So we come here for our extra potent Clover pressed coffee. Also, this location used to carry Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. But they’ve stopped. Don’t know why. But I wish they’d restock it. It’s true that parking can be a pain in the rear. It’s all about timing. We usually come at off times on the weekends. Plenty of parking then.

I normally dont give SB over a 3 star. BUT and a huge BUT… this Starbucks has a clover machine. The clover machine basically grinds and brews a single cup pourover style coffee that is the best I have ever tasted. If you are about coffee and not milk and sugar flavored with coffee ask for a dark roast coffee made on the clover. You will be happy. im from seattle and know my coffees… that damn clover machine makes me come here more often than I should. Service is normal sb as is everything else.

All Starbucks are not created equal. In my experience, the only common denominator in this chain is the over-the-top friendly service. Which is nice. This particular location drives me NUTS. If you’re looking to enjoy your breakfast coffee and get some work done, you’ll be hard-pressed to find an electrical outlet for your computer. It seems the outlets are more readily available at large-group tables, but basic coffee shop etiquette tells me it’s not cool to sit at those tables solo(a tip other café goers could take a hint from, if you ask me). Layout is awkward, there’s never any convenient parking, and waiting for your drink is like playing constant shuffle wars with other guests. With another less-crowded S-bucks right up the street at Naco & New Braunfels, I would not choose this location.

my first visit there, the parking leaves alot to be desired, the staff was friendly enough. We had to «stalk» the counter for our drinks as no one bothered to ask what name to put on them.(I am not a starbucks regular, but usually when I go, I name is asked. has this been dropped?)

Another Starbucks location messed up my drink and the great people at this location fixed my drink for me at no charge. I love their very friendly staff!

Pros: New interior design. A large table(10 people) for meetings and high rounded tables. Very modern and great environment to relax. Customer service is like no other, fast and friendly. Cons: PARKING! Ugh, so limited parking that it’s difficult to find one if you get there at a certain time. Wifi is horrible! I recommend a mobile hotspot instead, though this could be true about every Starbucks.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. Uniformity rules for this chain. But you know exactly what you are going to get at any of their 8 billion locations. For some this is important.

Mark H’s review cracked me up because it’s so true. Reviewing a chain can be a bit boring. But, I have to show this Starbucks some love because I do stop in from time to time when I’m out running errands or having meetings, etc. So, yeah. It’s a Starbucks like every other Starbucks I guess. They make all the usual coffee beverages one would expect at these establishments and they typically do them well. I’ve never had any issues with service or anything like that, staff is friendly and works fast to crank out those $ 5ish cups of caffeine happiness. The patio is also pretty nice to sit and work and watch the world go by. But, one reason why I do enjoy popping in here from time to time(please don’t tell my local coffee shop I have a mistress) is that it can sometimes be a good place to meet people. A lot of people around the neighborhood are always in and out getting their java on and I seem to always make a new friend when I’m here!
