Starbucks

I haven’t been the biggest Starbucks fan in the past. This one is THE one though!!! I’ve preordered the Veranda coffee in the box the night before for meetings at work. At 05:30, they have had it ready for me wit hall if the sides. The staff are always friendly, now they know what I like. I preordered a feta wrap and when I went to pick it up and they were out, they apologized, gave me a gift card AND a discount!!!

Very, very slow service without a lot of customers. Not friendly and they don’t call your name. Not Starbucks standards. Plus, they don’t know what light «whipped cream» means.
Won’t be back to this one!

This place is awesome! A little on the loud side when you’re outside, but still a great place to study.

Well anyone who knows me, my many of you yet, knows I’m not a big coffee drinker. I don’t even have a coffee pot of any kind into home! I know, I’m probably going to get hisses amongst the crowd for that. Why am I at Starbucks should be the next question pertinent to this review. Well, I, along with many other data starved individuals, needed the WiFi. Being an IT Professional, I seek connectivity anywhere I can especially for emergency customer situations. A bulk of my work can be done remotely from my machine onto a client’s. that being said, the connection at Starbucks is one of las resort. It’s slow and not very reliable. This trip I did actually decide to grab a drink and tried the new Valencia orange refresher. I don’t like things to sweet so I asked for unsweetened please. Tip: The surgery portion of this drink is already in the drink fans can’t be removed. They can however addled water. This really made my refresher just right. So, in that light, Starbucks for a drink? Why not! By no means did the world shake, but it made working on a project sitting there a bit more bearable.

Sooooo by the looks of the photos listed here there seems to be a little confusion. Allow me to clarify: THIS IS THE ONE UNDER THE APARTMENTS and NOT ACROSS FROM CANYON CAFE.
Now that we have cleared that up-​I dig this location. While living at Artessa (the apartments above) became a regular here. Even before we were what you’d call regulars, the staff was quite friendly and attentive. They move people through pretty quickly as well. Nice little patio (much more enjoyable than the one in the Quarry) and convenient parking. I enjoy this one.

Yes, I made a mistake. I ordered the Chocolate Smoothie without realizing what it was «smoothed» with… (poor sentence structure) I mentioned the banana taste to the cashier and once I realized I was the one who had made the mistake, I ordered something else.
She took care of my order and did exactly what a great customer service company should do… handle it and allow the customer feel like they got away…

This Starbucks is just like any other Starbucks in San Antonio. Ordering a drink was quick and the barista assembled a drink within minutes. The only complain is that when I came to visit the restrooms were quite filthy. The smell of urine was devastating and paper towels were scattered along the ground.

They were daily busy, but my drink wasn’t made great and it took a little while even though they were busy but I feel like I caught them on an off day because they were very friendly and seemed to work well together

Three words for you: Fastest starbucks ever!

This location sadly should not have Wi Fi access. Too many people are here for the long haul of studying, doing business meetings, and the like. Normally I’m a huge advocate of café culture but in a mall where shoppers just want a coffee, ten minutes of air conditioning form the oppressive heat and be on their way it’s impossible with the stagnant crowd that frequents here. «This is not the coffee shop you’re looking for. You may go about your business. Move along».” (Said in my best Jedi voice)

The night we went here, there was a huge crowd of hearing impaired people inside and out, in addition to the regular customers. It looked like they were having a reunion of some sort. It was really crowded! The drink was good though, so nothing changed there. They need to expand the seating for this location. It’s too popular and crowded. The service was good and I got my skinny cinnamon latte quick and painlessly.

Went by here today. The floors were dirty and there were multiple «singles» sitting at tables for 4. I’d be hard pressed to think of something that annoys me more than rude people.
For some reason San Antonio Starbucks are the WORST I’ve ever been in with one exception, the store on Bitters near 281.
If you need coffee in San Antonio, try a local place.

I enjoy going here very much. Most of the staff are friendly and personable. They remember who you are and try to help you should you come up with a request, whether it be sales– or Internet-​related. The people who come here seem comfortable with the place, which makes me more comfortable. It plays the best music out of the all the coffee shops in town that I’ve been to. I’m an Indie/​Folks/​Alternative fan. Very conductive to studying.

I usually think multiple Starbucks in the same vicinity is overkill, but in this case The Quarry really needed a second Starbucks. Tucked away in the new shopping/​dining/​living complex across Basse from the main area of The Quarry, you’ll find this smaller, much quieter, more pleasant Starbucks where the workers are very friendly and kind. I would definitely chose this Starbucks over the original Starbucks next to Pottery Barn.
