I had to chime in because my appointment today was easy, friendly and fast. My appointment was at 1:45 and I was called back by 1:30. The tech was super nice and friendly, which made me feel comfortable. I was finished and out by 2:00. I was very pleased with the whole process.

I normally don’t write reviews… BUT I had to make an exception. South Texas Radiology Group (8401 Data Point SA, TX 78 229) refused to bill my insurance; HOWEVER, after writing them a letter they said they would bill my insurance and did so… EXCEPT they billed the wrong insurance company. When I informed them of this and gave the the proper billing address they refused to resend it to the appropriate address. After several attempts to persuade them to do so, I was told they would send it back through the «claims dept.» and someone would call me to let me know. No one ever called me. They claimed they had the wrong number. In the mean time they informed me that if I didn’t pay TODAY that I would be sent to collections, even though my account had an extension on it past the immediate day of their threat. I learned that they did send me to collections and they would not allow me to speak with a supervisor about anything. I was told 3 times in less than a week that a supervisor would call me back and no one ever did. In the meantime my insurance company was completely willing to pay the bill in full… not only that, the compliance department of my insurance company contacted this group and asked them to bill him directly. He was willing to write a written request for the medical records if needed. THEY REFUSED. BE SURE TO DOCUMENT EVERYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY… AS I HAVE DONE. I am now processing all of this through the Texas department of health.

They are not professional and a place to avoid. Go anywhere else. Had surgery and xrays– within the time I was recovering and out of it, they were threatening to send me to a collection agency for $ 62.48. I have since paid it. Told my new ortho not to use South Texas Radiologists Imaging — going for an mri anywhere else!

This is not a good place to be. My experiece was not pleasant when they did laser surgery on one of my legs. Doctor Bynnum was rude in the way that he never acknowledge my presence during my procedure. He never explain the procedure the day of surgery. He did spent time with the nurse talking personal business. He never once asked how i was doing. Do not recommend this at all. They told me he was the best and if that is the case i woud to see what the worst doctor would be like.
