Came in for a dessert martini at the suggestion of my hotel concierge. I loved this place as it was a little off from the heavily trafficked area of downtown around the river walk. The drink was expertly made and the bartenders were great! It looked like they also had a cooler with some bottled and canned beers available in case you’re not feeling a martini or mixed drink.

This was a great find for us on this trip to San Antonio. We loved sitting at the bar and watching all the specialty cocktails being prepared. We came for wine but were quickly enticed to try something else. The chocolate covered strawberry and nutter butter martinis were outstanding.

Stopped in while in town for Anniversary, before heading to dinner. Cruise was our bartender and he was GREAT! Asked what we liked and was DEAD on. We enjoyed it so much we went back after dinner and brought people we met at dinner. We will be back!

This place was packed Saturday night. Got an awkward little table facing a wall. Very strange but we went for the music. The people were way too loud to even enjoy the Jazz. Thought after a drink I’d change my mind, but after waiting 15 minutes for my martini the nostalgia wore off, especially when I saw people just walking up to the bar and getting drinks right away. The girl who took our order disappeared. When my drink finally did come it was an inch below the rim. Looked like someone drank it before giving it to me. That was that. Paid our tab and left after one libation.

Brought a friend visiting from Massachusetts out here last night. We were both impressed with the vibe, the service and the drinks. Awesome staff, awesome drink!

Sure it’s a downtown bar,(that’s gonna cost you a little) but $ 240 for two couples 3 rounds(single liquor drinks). That’s like $ 20 a drink.(We weren’t even drinking any of their foo-foo martinis) Get over yourself soho, this is SA, not Vegas. Unfairly priced, and/or dishonest bartenders.

This is a really classy bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and they have a Jazz Band playing on the weekends. I went here for the first time last weekend, and I loved the service and my cocktail

I had the smore martini, that was so delicious and sweet I could have drank the entire martini in two sips and then I had the Harvey man bourbon cocktail which was strong and worth it!!! Do not go here if you are on a budget drinks are about 7 – 12 dollars a cocktail! Atmosphere reminds me of New Orleans!

Went here last night with a friend and the bartender was beyond rude. And they were not even that busy yet. Since some of the martini names are rather vague, I asked what was in one of them that was listed on the board so I could decide if that was one I wanted. The bartender seemed slightly annoyed, but obliged. I asked about a second one and he straight up told me that he couldn’t go through the entire board with me and just to tell him what I wanted in terms of flavor profile. what the… Great customer service, buddy. Since we were there, and planned to never go back again anyway, I went against my better judgement and ordered one of the dessert flavored martinis as well. Horrible idea. It was awful. Ridiculously sweet and made mostly of bottled Smuckers syrups. The group of ladies sitting next to my friend and I said the same thing about theirs. No clue why 90% of the customers were drinking them. Novelty I guess? SoHo is not for me.

I visited the Soho Wine and Martini Bar on a Monday afternoon after work. Unfortunately for me the Happy Hour had ended, but they had pretty fair prices for drinks anyway.(My drink cost me about $ 9, which isn’t too bad for a Craft Cocktail at a River walk Bar. The Bartender for the evening, Adam, was very informational about the different type of drinks that they had on the menu. In addition to that, he asked em what I traditionally like in cocktail and created a cocktail off the menu, that he thought I would enjoy. Which is always a nice treatment when you are at a bar, to feel like something is made just for you! There was a pretty decent crowd at the Soho Bar that night, and Adam did a pretty good job at balancing making drinks and yet still having conversation and being personable with his customers. A little later in the evening, things started to pick up and another employee joined Adam to help out with the crowds. The atmosphere at the bar is very relaxed, it’s a beautiful bar with an old Vault in the middle that doubles as a Wine Storage room, then they have a bookcase lined wall that houses all their spirits. The tables and chairs a through out the bar, some in open areas that welcome a more large party setting, and then others that are placed against the wall offering a couple an nice intimate table. They have a Happy Hour from 4 – 7 Monday thru Friday where they offer specials on Martinis and Wine!

Nice drinks but too snooty for my taste. The bartender makes a nice drink and watching his technique shows true mixology… just sucks his attitude is crappy and NOT personable. It was a place to kill time before a show

After a week long conference and walking along the river we decided to visit this place based on the reviews. If your here you need to visit this place. The bartender Adam mixed drinks based off our pallets and he was spot on. A wonderful hidden Gem one I’d highly recommend when visiting San Antonio

This is the PERFECT date night spot and one of those places you have to visit in San Antonio. My boyfriend and I had a blast. We wanted to try every martini on the menu, but after 2 of them, we were pretty much done. There was a live band playing all the classic hits, the place was dimly lit and romantic, and just has an awesome 1920s speakeasy feel. I wanted to stay there all night. I had the cookies and cream martini(omg — try this) and a lemon drink with an orange peel that they lit on fire, and my boyfriend had El Chapo and some other really strong drink. Snag a spot close to the bar to watch the mixologists make the martinis — you’ll be mesmerized! I’ve never seen so much passion put into making a martini. Watching them make the drinks was one of the best things about the whole experience.

Sooooo amazing. Another bartender suggested this place when I thought I couldn’t find a good drink in San Antonio. Man… SOGOOD! My husband got the carrot cake Martine and an old fashioned. It was delicious. I got the almond joy. Wow!!! Spot on

This was not expected when I was first walking in… I loved it! Just like the other reviews this place is a hole in the wall, yet more! Granted this is a Monday and the crowd was small, but Adam the bartender was awesome. Atmosphere: 5* Jazzy Cool Dive Vibe Service 5* Adam was on it. I was in a Scotch mood and he was more than accommodating with suggestions. He knows his Scotch and very informative on why to try. You can’t go wrong here! Take the time, even on a slow night. It’s worth it.

Dark, Divey, Old School, Funky, Non-Touristy, Cool a$$ bar! Seriously, if you don’t know what to do, just ask someone sitting. The bartender will eventually make it out to you, but will provide you with outstanding crafted drinks! If you want a place to just chill out from the Riverwalk and like seriously«old school — speakeasy environments», then I give you SoHo Wine & Martini Bar. Cheers!

This place has a good martini bar vibe. It is hip and trendy, but in a divey dank dimly lit sort of way. The decorations feel well worn and authentic and there is a cozy atmosphere. The big chalk board makes it feel like this kind of place where you would find expert mixologists hard at work. The drink however were not quite as good as the ambiance might boast. I would give them am 3 ½ or so. But the atmosphere pulls my ranking just up to the bar of 4. Overall its a good place that I would recommend checking out but I was not able to find any«best in class» craft cocktails.

Jazz music, gourmet cocktails, and a cool spot that gives me extroverts a place to be loud and introverts a place to converse without screaming. That sums up SoHo Wine & Martini Bar. I don’t drink, so I can’t speak to the cocktails, but the people I was with loved the Peanut Butter and Crème Brulee cocktails. I would give this place 5 stars, but the men’s room doesn’t have a door on the stall and no lock on the restroom. No, I don’t want to watch others or have them watch me…

A few weekends ago while the weather was still pleasant, I had the pleasure of enjoying one of Soho’s Classic Martinis. I bookmarked this place months ago to visit and to my surprise I found a sleek little gem hidden in downtown San Antonio. A short walk from the mall and the Riverwalk, We entered the door to a bustling scene with a hip jazz band serenading a room that was packed with guest. I passed by several colorful drinks as my date and I were escorted down a dimly lit hallway were we talked under red lights and by candle light. Our waitress was kind and explained to us the several choices that were being happily consumed by the numerous patrons at the bar. The décor was a tad vintage and my Chocolate Martini arrived covered in whip-cream and drizzled with chocolate. The flavors were blended perfectly but it did have enough kick to stop me at one. I didn’t see much on the street for parking so be Mindful you will probably have a short walk to get there but definitely a place for Lovers and Friends ~

DUDE. They lit a piece of bacon on fire while making my drink! Someone recommended that I order a Hawaiian Rose, and before I knew it, the whole bar had their cell phones out shooting pictures of this amazing drink preparation, that included bacon drippings, rum, whipped egg, coconut and chocolate. Two drinks set me back $ 24 plus tip, so this was not a budget-friendly bar, but it was worth going in to check out the cool old bank vault(which now stores liquor), listen to some jazz and see the artisan cocktail preparations. Don’t forget your camera ;)
