I’ve been going here for years. I think they are the best doughnuts. Good prices & customer service. They are closed on Sunday’s.

I woke up on Memorial Day craving donuts. I drove by, expecting it to be closed but no, they were open!!! I walked in, ordered a ½ dozen, which was not easy given the number of choices they had, and walked out happy. Service was short and sweet, prices were just right.

Unfortunately I received food poisoning from this establishment. From all of the Unilocal reviews I thought this would be an excellent choice for donuts and koloches but I was sorely mistaken. The koloches tasted OK but hours after consuming them I started to feel a gut-wrenching pain in my abdomen. Unbeknownst to me, I had contracted food poisoning from the rancid cheese that must’ve been infused in my koloches. Do not be fooled by the pretty pictures on Unilocal showcasing their donuts selection. Their donuts were stale. I will stick to Shipley’s donuts from now on to fulfill my doughnut needs because snowflake donuts was not only let down, but made me sick. I am not sure what the hoopla is about but buyer beware– I would be cautious if I were you.

From all the reviews I thought this place would be great for a Saturday morning. Unfortunately it was a mistake to eat here, everyone in my household that had a kolaches is now suffering with food poisoning. Their kolaches must have been extremely old, I should have know when they asked if we would like them warmed up. Do not get the kolaches here, unless you want to suffer with extreme food poisoning.

Great donuts! These people definitely separate themselves from the average donut flavor and texture. My favorite was definitely the Apple fritter! In general, I don’t like Apple fritters because they tend to have that«cheap factory made Apple pie snack» kind of flavor. It was a test for me to see if they actually have original recipes or just take a generic take on their donuts to make money. The Apple fritters are AWESOME here. Slight crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. As for the donuts, i tried about 6 different ones and all have good flavor and soft! Everything is clearly freshly made, so you can’t beat it. I’m from out of town, so if I do end up eating donuts from somewhere else in SA, they have some big shoes to fill

Great Babcock/Huebner area donut shop! Snowflake Donuts has been around for a while and I have just discovered this sweet gem. They have a wide selection of donuts made daily with lasting freshness until the afternoon. I went around 2 p.m. and the taste was still impeccable! The bread was cushioned with fluffy flavor, and the icing was delightfully glazed with sweet taste. It would satisfy anyone’s donut cravings! My personal favorites were the Strawberry donut, and the Coconut donut. But overall, all of the donuts were amazing! They also have cold drinks TO-GO in a refrigerator and sell baked breads and kolaches. Skip the local grocery stores and score deliciousness right here. Your tastebuds will not regret it!

Wow as other fellow Unilocalers say, the place was recommended by a fellow Unilocaler(Julie) and she was spot on. The reviews are spot on as well, this place just calls your name as it is a sugar haven. Even getting there at about 2 pm the pastries are so delicious which gives my mind something to think about if I was to walk in there in the early morning hours when the sweets are at there peak. I highly recommend putting this place on your bucket list and making your way to it…

My fiancée and I suffered through the rain to make a trip to snow flake and boy was it worth it. We got there about 9AM and the cases were full! It was so nice being able to choose from a wide variety and having the option of being able to get one or more of the same flavored. We got two large sausage, cheese and helped I kolaches and they were delicious. The ratio to meat, cheese and bread wasn’t bad there’s a bit more bread than sausage or cheese but that’s ok to because the bread is sweet, light and fluffy. We need got half a dozen donuts which included the new pumpkin flavor which I wish I would of gotten two instead of one because it tasted like pumpkin which I know some of us look for during fall good pumpkin flavor foods, two blue eerie which are the best in my opinion, a peanut gourmet type, cinnamon, and Halloween sprinkles. I love the fact that there donuts aren’t drowning in glaze or topping depending on which ones you pick. The prices are cheap for all that we spent about $ 8. The staff is super friendly and they also are fully stock on drinks such as orange juice, milk, tea, etc.

Driving around the area we noticed snowflake donuts and had been wanting to try them! So thankful that we did! We were greeted by the cashier and looked at the different selections. Being it was already 2:30 there was not much but we tried a chocolate frosted donut and I decided to try a chocolate and Bavarian cream suggested by the cashier. I really liked how they have the different jelly donut options and you can choose whichever flavor to fill your donut! The donuts are so light and not heavy at all. They are also very generous with the amount of filling and are so kind! Parking was not too difficult at this time of day. Will definitely return!

So conveniently located by my workplace. Actually a little too convenient… I know there are multiple locations but this is the only one I’ve been to and I really like it The donuts are awesome! If you like the super sweet and light donuts from Krispy Kreme, then you might not like these. These donuts are a little more dense and very chewy. The crust is a little thicker and has more texture than a regular donut. I love the texture of the donuts in general. I also like the flavors of the donuts. They are not too sweet and don’t taste too oily. The glazes are also not that sweet, which is something I appreciate. My absolutely favorite thing about this place is that they fill the donuts and Eclairs once you order them. You can fill the donuts with whatever flavors you want. I love the Bavarian cream filled chocolate donuts. I’ve never had a problem with them under filling or overfilling the donuts. I like the Bavarian cream and apple fillings. I’ve also had the kolaches. It tastes like a standard kolache. The breading is sweet and the sausage is small and tastes generic. But I’m comparing all kolaches to Central market’s, which is the best I’ve had. If you can, get your coffee elsewhere. This coffee is pretty bland and has no depth. I only get it if I am in a hurry. It is inexpensive and they offer land o lakes and vanilla half and half(in those disposable containers). Service is great! All the workers are really nice and always patiently wait while I try to decide what flavors to get. Overall, a really great place to get great donuts.

Love it! I pass by Snowflake every time I drive to school, and I decided to wake up early one day and make a pit stop. There isn’t a terrible line or wait in the morning, which is nice. And the staff are incredibly efficient, so you get in and you get out quick. I’m not a huge fan of donuts in general, but I did try their strawberry glazed donut. It was a bit too sweet, but the bread was really soft and fluffy. What I really loved about Snowflake though was their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit! It was amazing! I believe it was less than $ 3.00, and it filled me up for both breakfast and lunch. I will definitely be frequenting here for an early morning pick me up.

I have come here many a times and always leave overall very happy. Their prices are great, but since they keep it fresh they can run out Love kolaches(i get the large sausage and jalapeño one) and cake donuts(BLUEBERRYCAKEISTHEBEST) in my opinion, donut holes and apple fritters. The regular donuts are just ok. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. I only wish it was closer to my house!

Donuts were delicious. Although I really only got to taste the apple fritter myself because my son and my sister ate all the rest before I could get to them! I was told they were«delicious»…“thanks”! I took one star off because my coffee was horrible! She brewed a fresh pot right in front of me but it tasted like she used an old filter and old coffee grinds! My suggestion: eat the donuts fast before they are all gone and don’t bother with the coffee here.

BESTAPPLEFRITTEREVER! This is a must get when you stop by here! They run out fast though so be sure to get there early enough. The blueberry donuts and old fashion are also very good. In fact everything here is pretty delicious from the croissant sandwiches to the kolaches. Can’t go wrong with Snowflake Donuts.

Wow. All I can say is, wow. Found this amazing doughnut shop by using Unilocal and I must say the reviews are spot on. It was love at first bite. Fresh made doughnuts with original twists. The icing on the strawberry doughnut looks to have fresh fruit purée. I recommend trying this place if you want a refreshing break from those big chain stores. You might not go back.

This is a solid place to get your donuts and kolaches from if you live in the area. The portions do not disappoint, the cinnamon twists(both regular glazed and chocolate ice) are huge and my favorite donut from there. I can’t wait to try the apple fritter, but I just can’t seem to stay away from the cinnamon twists! The donut holes are okay, and I’ve purchased their kolaches too. Their kolaches are run-of-the-mill, nothing too extraordinary about them. But the breading on the kolaches they make is pretty nice: very soft and melts in your mouth(both regular and croissant versions). I’m not too picky about my kolaches though, so long as they have a sausage and not a hotdog in it, I’m a happy camper.

Years ago I stumbled upon Snowflake Donuts and anytime I’m in the area the glazed donuts are always calling my name. I would highly suggest going in the morning because they serve the donuts hot! A fresh donut really makes a difference because Snowflake serves up a heavenly crispy and lightly glazed donut. On this occasion, I went around noon and the donuts were not as good as they looked but the good old microwave fixed that problem! They have many jelly filling choices if you’re in the market for a jelly donut and you simply tell them what you want and they fill it at that moment, NEATO! The coconut donut knocked my socks off, so much yummy crunchiness! The service is incredibly friendly and they answered all my questions and offered wonderful suggestions. I will definitely return!

I’ve never been a big donut fan, but Snowflake may have changed me! Dangerous as it’s a 2 block walk from my house… eek… Anyway, the ham & cheese croissant sammich was absolutely amazing… the flaky buttery croissant, salty ham, & gooey cheese… oh yeah. Get it. The glazed donut holes were dangerously mouth-popable & delish. The cinnamon twist was also pretty dang tasty. The apple fritter looked rather dark in color & was hard to cut… but pleasantly crunchy & sugary on the outside & chewy inside. Great fast, cheap spot to grab a breakfast bite!

I will not let this become a habit. I will not let this become a habit. I will not let this become a habit. Or. .. maybe… Basically, this place creates outstanding donuts(haven’t tried the kolaches). Service is friendly, food is calorie-laden and yummy. If you want your basic top drawer donut — this is your place. I’ve managed for years without giving in to my donut cravings — but with Snowflake, I have a feeling those days are gone forever.
