Excellent ! That is all I can say. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made sure that we were well taken care of. The food was superb and the service was excellent. We will go here again.

What a fantastic experience! This is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and classy and attentive service. We sat at the bar on the deck and Marty made our dinner a blast with fun and exceptional service. The oyster selection is extensive and delicious! This is a must go when in the SA area!

Comida de primer nivel, aunque los platillos y el menú son poco abundantes. Sin duda muy buena opción para cenar

Gorgeous décor, great cocktail(Hemingway), lots of oysters. I like that you can build your own sampler or buy one at a time. The fried green tomatoes were awesome, mussels and lobster roll were good. I was really impressed by this place, and would definitely return!

Pretty good selection of wine and champagne on display. Oysters are pretty good as well although I’m not a fan. The silo mule was pretty on point. Very nice place, had a great meal

Excellent finishout on this new location. The food is remarkably consistent with the 1604 location, fantastic. Try the fried oysters and spanish, they are the best in the city. The outdoor bar is an excellent spot for drinks and appetizers or a full meal.

Yum! You understand when I say, «Silo Gets It Right!» I am sitting here at lunch, listening to soothing, relaxing Background music — not the blaring cacophony that I hear at some restaurants, where patrons have to talk loudly to be heard above the din. Also, we are constantly impressed with the very high level of service here. The wait staff know us(and our little eccentricities); and, they are always accommodating. If you favor New American, you have arrived! The dishes here are delicious, and the chef is kind enough to work around my gluten intolerance & other food sensitivities. Check out my pics for examples of the beautifully composed plates. Need I say more? Yes! Thank you, Silo! You Get it Right!

As good as it gets! Their oysters are fresh and flavorful, we went here for my birthday and was able to reserve a nice private room for the party. Wait staff was prompt and attentive and my entrée of Chilean Sea Bass was perfect! Will definitely be back again.

One of the better restaurants in SA! I’ve been to two of their locations & have been extremely happy with service and DELISH food! Today’s lunch was chicken fried oysters! If you order one thing, order the oysters! Followed by salmon on wasabi mashed potatoes! Generous portions as well, having leftovers for dinner! Highly recommend Silo!

We got here an hour early to sit on the terrace and have happy hour wine and oysters. The oysters are ½ off during happy hour, which made them a great deal. This place has phenomenal oysters. We tried 4 different types on the menu and they were all so unique and different. The service outside was terrible. We were constantly having to flag down our waitress for wine and they shorted us an oyster! They never told us when our reservation time arrived. After 15 minutes went by, we decided to go inside to check if our table was ready. First we were sat at a four person table when there were plenty more intimate 2 person tables around. We asked to move and luckily they were able to accommodate our request. We ordered a 2006 Bourdeaux wine that was superb and prices on bottles were pretty reasonable. For dinner, we split the 14 oz boneless ribeye and the petite seafood platter. Both were decent. This place isn’t very fancy and the food is a little overpriced for the quality. The steak was overcooked and the cut of meat wasn’t that great. For dessert we split the coconut pie and this was probably the best thing of the night. Overall, I probably won’t go back. Too expensive for mediocre food.

I knew after experiencing Silo’s on 1604 I would have to try Silo’s Oyster bar. I was not disappointed. The cold seafood platter would have been more than enough especially with the upgrade to lobster claws since they were out of shrimp but I had to try the Oysters Rockerfeller which were sublime actually some of the best I have ever had and I have had the everywhere! Since it was such a lovely day and I was celebrating my productivity I decided to go all the way and have toasted coconut pie and coffee for dessert. OMG!!! This is my new pamper me place. I don’t even have to go into SA proper to get here. They also have happy hour on the terrace everyday they are open 4 – 7 with great deals. If you go ask for Katherine to serve you she is a sweetheart.

We had a 9:45 reservation but our table wasn’t ready so we sat at the bar outside. We were told that the hostess would come and grab up when our table was ready. Then 10:15 rolled around come to find out that they had our table ready and called for us but no one bothered to grab us at the bar! Wonder how much longer we would of waited if we didn’t recheck for our table . The oysters were good but the horseradish lacked the kick. Soup was VERY small and our waiter didn’t know if they had soup containers.(A restaurant that didn’t have containers for soup?) Main course was good but nothing amazing or crave worthy! The dessert crust was so hard that for the life of me I couldn’t stab through it. For two people it was a $ 200 tab. Overall pretty expensive for a restaurant that was just meh!

Great interior decorating & the rooftop bar had a great atmosphere. Ordered the Hemingway Daquiri. It was way too limey however they had no problem exchanging it for the Moscow mule, which was much better. The oysters were de-lic-ious! We had the raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller & chicken fried oysters; all 3 were on point. Service was great. Would definitely go here again!

To Unilocal: I am writing this review just like my others. Now that we got that out of the way… Date night with the wife. Wanted to try something new and close by. Got a table right away(early). View was excellent. Moved tables to a quieter part of the restaurant. Tried the calamari and some of the speciality oysters. Calamari had good flavor but was a bit overcooked. We brought this to our waiters attention and he made us whole. I ordered the seabass and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was good. Not distant or overly attentive. The restaurant was small, cozy and modern upscale. Could be a bit loud in certain areas. Proportions were smaller but inline for gourmet fair. A bit pricey but a different, somewhat novel, experience. Could see trying again. Want to try out the patio! Looks fun.
