Sensational Hair

I got a great haircut at Sensational Hair this weekend. I got a same day appointment on a Saturday which was very convenient. My stylist, Sheri, asked a lot of questions about how I wanted it cut, and then did just that! I’m really happy with how it looks.

I had given myself bangs and had a slight mullet going on, so one of the gals at Sensational Hair kindly fixed it for me. Also needed to get rid of some dead ends and thin out my hair. Typically that means walking out with a bob, but I wanted to keep my length so she did not chop it off like most salons. I was very pleased with the results. :) my hair looks healthy and is still the same length!
They also seem to specialize in color, perms, and other services but I just needed a hair cut today.

So I saw this woman in a local business with the CUTEST haircut with this bombshell red color and I had to ask where she had her hair done and that is how I discovered Sensational Hair. From the minute I stepped in I found everyone to be friendly and welcoming. Hannah was my stylist for the day and I was nervous as I’d been turned down by other stylists who «aren’t the best with ethnic hair…» Whatever. She sat me down and we talked about exactly what I wanted. She was very professional and this was one of the best hair consultations I’ve ever had. She got down to business coloring and cutting and she checked in often to make sure I liked the direction we were going in. The end result was better than I could have asked for! I will absolutely be going back to this salon to have my hair done in the future.

well I can’t comment much on the work they do but I went for an interview for a stylist position an went great so I thought. I called back to see if I had position as I was instructed to do by the manager an she out right told me I didn’t get position cause I didn’t speak Spanish yes people this is texas what use to be part of Mexico but it is NOT MEXICO an fyi I am half Hispanic an I do speak some Spanish just goes to show just because a person doesn’t fit what u think they should be it just might be so choose your words very carefully next time an btw I found a job at a more modern salon u guys really need to get more modern an get rid of that 1970’s look lol anyway just wanted the public an other nonhispanic stylist to know how rude an offensive u were an to think twice before getting a service at your establishment. cause u come off kind of racist! in my book

Love this shop! The ladies who work here are so friendly and personable. Been going here for 4 years and don’t go any where else! Rochelle is amazing! She is so friendly and will really listen and give advice on what will look best on you! Don’t be afraid to step by for a walk in!
