If you really want to get an idea of what the nightlife is all about in San Antonio this is your place. They only serve beer and tequila, but all the seats in the place were occupied despite. There was lots of Tejano and Country, with a few couples getting up to provide entertainment between a tiny Elvis impersonator getting down on the dance floor. As you can imagine, what they do serve is relatively cheap, but you will need to specify that you want your shots chilled or you will get it warm. Small bar, this place gets higher marks for providing a truly «San Antonio» experience. Even though restaurant is in the name, they don’t serve food here.
