I was able to try these cupcakes and was quite excited after reading all the reviews and rave. I personally did not like the cupcake or the frosting. I had a vanilla cupcake with blueberry frosting. The cupcake itself was very thick and the frosting was very sweet. I don’t recommend these cupcakes.

Saweet Cupcakes’ food truck came out to my neighborhood’s National Night Out event and they were a huge hit!!! The prices were more than reasonable and they were delicious!!! The owners were awesome to work with and more than accommodating to our needs and requests. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be contacting them again.

The carrot cake is the BOMB, by far the best icing and cake blend I’ve had in the immediate area. The cake was moist and icing not overly sweet!

Ordered these for my kids’ birthday party and they were a huge hit! Almost every mom asked me where I got them. I ordered a specific color scheme in the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry cupcakes and they did not disappoint! The colors were bright and exactly what I had in mind. The owners were very friendly and took the time to go through every little detail with me. The owner even gave me the hint to serve them at room temp and she was right! I will absolutely recommend and be coming back for future events!

Delicious! Even the plain white is to die for. We’ve tried a few other cupcake places in town and we like Saweet best!

We found this little cupcake shop gem while in San Antonio, trying to continue our 8 yr tradition of finding a cupcake shop to visit on every vacation trip. The owner was pleasant and helpful. The cupcakes were a perfect balance of dense but moist cake with not too much frosting on top. I had the salted caramel and the filling alone was worth it! A great find near our hotel and with a name like«Saweet! Cupcakes,» what could be more Texas than that?

I usually try to stop here when I am in the area. I happened to stumble upon it while trying to find a testing center. A cupcake was exactly what I needed after a stressful test. What i enjoy most about the cupcakes is that you can taste all the flavors. I always get the lemon blueberry cupcake and you can taste BOTH the lemon and the blueberry. They also use real blueberries in their icing which is not overly thick. Some cupcakes the icing is piled a mile high. Not here. It is the perfect ratio. I also enjoy their strawberry with chocolate buttercream and their tres leches. I wish they had the unconventional flavors more often than just seasonal, like their pumpkin cheesecake. The cupcakes range in price from $ 2.75(regular flavors) to $ 4(gluten free). Always worth the trip!

Delicious! Tried both the carrot cake and the tres leches cupcake and I would recommend both. The tres leches is a little messy so make sure you get some napkins to go. Frosting can kill an otherwise good cupcake, but their frosting tasted great! Cupcakes were $ 3/each — seems pretty standard in my opinion.

I just happened upon Saweet Cupcakes while getting my bike modified at Performance a couple shops over in the same strip. I was so impressed with how friendly the attendant was and how informative she was about ingredients used. Imagine my surprise when I checked out the business on Unilocal only to find it has 3.5 stars. One reviewer was not happy because they opted for a flavor that wasn’t their favorite?! Another about it being too cold. I relocated to San Antonio from the North East and miss a number of food items. One of them being desserts made with real cream. Not sure if it’s a lactose issue or a South Texas heat issue but few places use the real deal. I was so happy to find this place which does use real cream, not crisco, or some other oil based cream… I was told a week lead time on ordering cakes. I like the fact I can order one but a week is beyond my usual planning period for routine birthday or house party cakes. I tried the Red velvet and the vanilla butter cream; both are delicious. Totally recommend and I will be back.

Excellent!!! Very good and the tres leche… To die for. The saltedcaramel doesn’t fall short. Best cupcake store in town yet. They also have a mobile truck that can cater events.

I had the vanilla cupcake with buttercream and rainbow sprinkles. It was $ 2 at oysterbake 2015. Cupcake is lovely. The size was small to average. Frosting to cupcake ratio was perfect. Buttercream frosting was delicious. Cake was slightly more golden brown on the bottom than optimal. Cake was not the best but certainly not bad. If you see the truck and have a cupcake craving it will satisfy you but I wouldn’t seek them out.

Saweet is the absolute best! Their customer service was five star! I live in Arkansas and had a last minute special request to surprise my husband while he was in San Antonio on a business trip. They went out of their way to help me turn a special day into a spectacular day for my husband and I cannot thank them enough! I emailed the request and left the rest of the design elements in their hands. They sent me a picture of the design when they were finished before they delivered them. Absolutely perfect. My husband was so surprised and he said the cupcakes were absolutely delicious, particularly the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. I would and will recommend this place to all of my friends down there.

I tried 4 cupcakes. All were moist and flavorful. The pumpkin spice was fantastic but the pumpkin caramel cupcake Rocked! I truly do not understand how so many bakery’s make the basic flavors and stay in business. This place mixes it up and come through with great combinations. Cake is good and frosting not too sweet. Love this place!

I didn’t like this cupcake. I took a bite and threw it out. I should have gone with chocolate, which is my favorite flavor but I was talked into trying something ‘special.’ The cupcake was really cold too, like it had been recently defrosted.

Pretty good cupcakes with good variety. They also sell discounted ones sometimes from the previous day. They make great gifts and always package them nicely for you. It’s also located right near the highway so very convenient. I came a few minutes after closing and the owner took the time to open her register for me. That personal service was really what made me a fan! The price is about the same as other non chain places, but if you are buying it for a gift or party or just a few it isn’t that bad at all! Love the red velvet ones and tiramisu.

I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, but when I do only cupcakes will really hit the spot. I’ve worked with some local bakers and bakeries in the past through my work with an event company, and I bake at home when I’m stressed, and cupcakes really just aren’t that hard. When I saw this place recently by my parents’ house, I knew I’d have to check it out soon, and with Mothers Day falling this weekend, I decided to stop by and pick up a few to nibble on after taking my madre out to dinner. The little store itself is tiny but cute, and has a couple of outdoor seats. The cupcakes are in a refrigerated display case, which is probably due to health code rules and stuff, but I prefer my cupcakes room temperature. No worries though, since I was taking them home. Staff was polite and friendly too, which was nice. After dinner and a trip to the gym, I came back to my parents’ house and remembered the cupcakes. After taking them out and letting them sit a bit, I tried a little of each one: Chocolate Peanutbutter– I’m not a big chocolate fan, but I LOVE peanutbutter frosting. In this case, the frosting did not disappoint: It’s almost a peanutbutter mousse, with the smooth nutty sweetness and none of the sticky clumping you get from actual peanut butter. However, the cake portion of my cupcake was dense and bland, to the point that it was nearly flavorless. This was somewhat disappointing, but I moved on. Salted Caramel– this is the one everyone seems to rave about. The cake on this one was moister, and I found that there was a bit of caramel filling inside of the cupcake itself, which was a nice bonus. Frosting was a little too sweet for my taste, but the cupcake itself was overall okay. I feel like I missed what made everyone else call it stellar… but maybe my standards are just higher than I thought. Or else I didn’t eat enough of it. Carrot Cake– mostly selected this one based on my mom’s taste preferences, but I think this one was probably my favorite. The cake and frosting weren’t too sweet but tasted distinctly of spice and carrot, and the white cream frosting lent a good level of sweetness to it. This was very simple and good. Overall, cupcakes seemed to be a little overhyped from what I’ve read here in other reviews, but they weren’t particularly bad. One was bland, and the others were just okay. I too found it a little odd that the cupcakes themselves were so small– they’re just regular-sized cupcakes rather than the larger version you usually get at cupcake bakeries. For them being the same price, and given how they tasted, this was a little disappointing. Spent nearly $ 10 for three cupcakes and it simply didn’t seem like they were worth it. I don’t know if it’s part of their gimmick, or what, but if you’re going to charge the same price as other bakeries at least have the standard large cupcake size for the price. Just a suggestion.

The pink Saweet truck eluded me around San Antonio for so long. And then I finally cornered them at the Boardwalk on Bulverde! Ha! Gotcha! Oh my Lord… I would have to say my favorite is the Chocolate Salted Caramel. Then again, it was the only flavor I tried that night — which was all I needed. I was hooked. The lady who sold me my ‘cupcake-ahol’ that night was my best friend. Seriously. I love you. And I love YOU, CHOCOLATESALTEDCARAMEL. *stands in front of other Saweet addicts* «Hello, my name is Jai and I’m a Saweet Cupcake-aholic.» :(\_(\ *:(=’ :’) :* *.(,(«)(»)°.*‘”

We drove 25 minutes to go get some yummy looking cupcakes from Saweet Cupcakes, we got lost a little bit because the truck camouflaged with its surrounding stores in the corner so we did not see it right away. We approached the truck & immediately got an energetic hello from the lady working. She was very kind and perky, very good customer service. Dark Red Velvet: My fave cupcake flavor! It was very good, moist, and the icing wasn’t that sweet which I loved. Chocolate Coconut: My boyfriend’s favorite, he loved it. I really liked the coconut sprinkled on top but the chocolate icing was a little too sweet. Carrot Cake: It was okay and moist but it could’ve used a little bit more flavor. My favorite cupcake place ever is Sprinkles Cupcakes, but they don’t have one here in San Antonio and we only get to buy some whenever we visit Houston. I’ve been meaning to find a replacement for Sprinkles but no other cupcake store came close to it, till I tried Saweet Cupcakes. Best cupcakes in San Antonio! 5 stars for the presentation of the cupcakes, taste, customer service, and how its here in San Antonio! Definitely would come here again whenever I crave cupcakes.
