The apartments are nice inside but my family can’t even barbecue. The manager said that only 2 persons can be outside to barbecue. Hello were a big family. So the rest of us stay inside !

I stayed here with two other roommates for the 2012 – 2013 school year working for a non-profit. As you know, there’s not exactly a lot of money working for those kinds of organizations. Which is why we decided to live here! Very affordable, and you get plenty of space for the amount you pay. Split between three dudes, our three bedroom apartment cost us $ 340 apiece, not including utilities. Not a bad deal! Rooms and closets are spacious. The living room had more space than we could use. Ceilings were high and there was a modest sized balcony. The community began using key cards to get in and out, another security feature for the gates. Some of the«meh» features include an ok washer/dryer room and those dumb cards necessary to work them. I’d prefer coin-operated but hey, I’m no apartment building owner. The pool is ok but gets too crowded in the summer(and only 4 feet deep?). Don’t even bother with the exercise room. But now, I gotta call out the cons. LOCATION. The surrounding area had a lot of crime occurring when I lived there and although nothing happened to me, there were instances where I didn’t feel so safe. And definitely take your valuables INSIDE with you. Bottom line: when it gets down to it, I think it’s a matter of choosing between an affordable price and a less than safe neighborhood. I actually believe the tenants IN the complex were great, it was the surrounding area I wasn’t so sure about. For me, an affordable price was the way to go.

Decent place. Had some growing pains, but now most everything has been worked out. Great, spacious floor plans, and a super firendly staff help making this place better than what it was. And the newer phase two has just as many apts as the first one does. Small pool tho, that stinks. But the after school program is pretty great too.

It’s been a few since my last update and some things have been improved. Like we got our patio furniture back at the pool, the laundry room has been open as well as the workout room, the access gates are being used but while the main gate is closed and does require your keycard to be used the other gate is always open so its not like you are out of luck. And the other bad thing about being called to let someone in is that sometimes people call any number and its annoying when they call your house at 3 am. Oh and best of the best, the previous Apartment Manager who I said was a racist bitch has been fired. What a marvelous thing to hear when calling the office to figure something out. The fuses still jump every once in a while but since I know what to do it is not that much of a problem and the only new thing I have to complain about is the damn smoke detectors going off at random times sometimes at 3 am waking me up out a deep sleep which is really annoying. Things have gotten better there which is always a plus. I guess the kinks still had to be worked out there it being a new complex and all. Still I am not sad to say goodbye to the place.
