Trinity University lies back away from 281 in a quiet grove of a neighborhood. It almost seems like Incarnate Word wants the spotlight and that is okay with Trinity. What Trinity does have is an impressive space for music and performing arts.
I saw Bill Maher, a comedian from HBO, at Ruth Taylor Concert Hall. It was a great theater and everything was easy to get to. The parking was quick and free. The stage and lighting was great and the seats — well, I might as well have been sitting in Bill’s lap.
My only concern is that there isn’t more done here for the general public. I hadn’t known this place before Bill Maher’s appearance and now, every time I drive by, I wonder who will pick the secret hideout spot next. It is a gem.
