The wife and I stayed for 3 days/4 nights. The good: — breakfast is pretty good, not too fancy but the sausage patties are browned on a grill, not just microwaved or steamed like drury inn. — There is a full-size coffee pot in the room — There is a functional kitchen with full-size fridge/freezer, 2-burner electric counter-top stove, microwave, and whatever pots/pans you might need. — Free wifi. The bad: — The coffee they provide you with sucks. — If you have your«do not disturb sign» on the door the first time the housekeeping staff passes, you won’t get house service unless you go track them down and ask. — The bed is like granite. — Cable channels they provide are very limited(showtime is available but we couldn’t watch the walking dead). The ugly: The bathroom is tiny — you practically have to stand in the tub in order to shut the bathroom door.

Front desk was so quick and helpful. Smoothest and quickest check in I’ve had at any stay. Staff was so friendly and quick to help us. Called and asked for blankets and we had them in less than a minute! Troy the GM is a fantastic man! He knows how to run a beautiful place with the most reputable staff in the industry. I will forever recommend this hotel to everyone going to san antonio. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay.

It’s a great location but I wouldn’t stay here again. The bed was very lumpy and creaky. The lamp shades were caked with dust. I’m glad I checked the adjourning door, it was unlocked. Not a safe feeling, Someone in the next room could have easily came in.

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Kitchen and full size refrigerator. Heated salt water pool. We went to six flags literally across the freeway like a 2 min drive. The family enjoyed this stay and I would definitely come back.

I am a Marriott rewards member and I usually enjoy the comforts of their establishments. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I did enjoy my stay, however, the housekeeping was not very impressive. It was very inconsistent. You can tell where they cleaned and what they left. The Mon-Thu meals are ok, not great, and the breakfast is better than average. The kitchen was great, although the dishwasher did not clean the dishes well. I had to hand wash them after they went through a dishwasher cleaning. I had stayed for 2.5 weeks, so overall, it was an OK experience, that could have been better.

Stayed there this past weekend with son and grandson had all my jewelry stolen and the only people going in and out of the room was us and the maid. Let’s do the math here people. Nothing done, no returned phone calls over 50K stolen well over and they still used up my points and even accused me of lying. So I sent them 6 pictures of me wearing it, If they would check their video of people checking in they would see I was wearing it, GOODGRIEF. You have horrible customer service yeah did I mention it happened on my birthday and it was my mother’s wedding ring all I had left of her!!! Beware do NOTSTAY here. They did not brief me on the amenities of the hotel at all and no safes in the room. I WAS a Marriott Rewards member now I’m Hilton,

As a Marriott rewards member, the Residence is pretty nice. I’m enjoying my stay and this hotel has all the amenities I love and expect with a Marriott stay-but I haven’t been terribly impressed with housekeeping. It isn’t bad, but it’s pretty inconsistent. Sometimes housekeeping comes by, and sometimes they don’t and I’ll have to ask, which isn’t the greatest for a long stay. The plumbing in my room was bad and several times had to call because my toilet was clogged. Another colleague who stayed here had the same problem. All in all the hotel is great, and with the housekeeping and plumbing improvements it’d be even better.

This is a good business hotel, although it is a bit out of the way of any of the«fun» in San Antonio. Unfortunately the check-in process didn’t go as smoothly as it could have gone. The guy that checked me in didn’t ask me for my Marriott Rewards card nor take the time to brief me on the amenities that this hotel offers. The included breakfast is better than average. The girl that tends to the breakfast area is cute, with a pretty smile & she’s very attentive. The evening«manager’s reception» is okay, although not quite on par with Embassy Suites. The reason being, there are no bartenders and the only alcohol is beer from a self-serve keg. They do have theme nights for the food which is a change of pace if you’re into the snacks they serve. The rooms themselves are spacious & well-appointed. The swivelling LCDTV is a nice touch. Although I didn’t stay here long enough to take advantage of the kitchen, it had pots, pans, and utensils to make a nice meal if you desired. Overall, I would stay here again if the price was right, or if I were attending a function nearby. The only real negative is you have to drive a decent distance to get anywhere. Hopefully over time this will change as there appears to be plenty of land to build upon.

Very nice hotel to stay in while in town. It makes it feel like you’re in an apartment since the amenities are there for use– dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and cupboards. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is very clean!

Stayed in the one bedroom suite. Loved it. Staff was very hospitable. Gave me a razor when I forgot mine. Housekeeping forgot to start the dish washer. Kind of annoyed me. Also there was old food under the mattress of the pull out couch? Gross.

Very Nice Hotel. The rooms were large and had just about everything you would want in a hotel room. LCD screen, clean sheets and bathroom. One of the nicest things about the room itself is the size but also the kitchen. The kitchen actually has a full size fridge, microwave, 2 burner size stove, dishwasher, sink, and cabinets filled with pots, pans, plates, cups, glass. Everything you would need if you decided to go hit up the near by grocery store and cook our own meal. The breakfast was awesome as well, you had your option of waffles, cereal, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit and yogurt. One of the better breakfasts that I have been too. All the items were super fresh and the staff was super friendly. Speaking of stores near by, one of the best parts about this hotel is the fact that it is super close to TWO great shopping centers! 1. The RIM, is .5 miles away and it houses a good number restaurants, high end and low end shopping stores you name it! But if a mall is your thing, drive 2 miles away and there is one of the nicest outdoor shopping malls I have ever seen. Great great list of stores, restaurants were ok, and the up keep and cleanliness was great as well. I would def go back to this hotel. Great places to shop and eat near by and the hotel room was great, and the breakfast was killer! Note: This hotel does not have a shuttle to and from the Airport, so if you need to go get to the airport, just let the staff know and they can call a cab for you.

Very nice new hotel. Rooms very well appointed and decorated. Rooms seemed well insulated although we were on the top floor. Free breakfast was very good(better than most). Breakfast was served until 10 on the weekend(Yay!). Location is within walking distance of shopping including a Target. Great, Great movie theatre nearby. Very convenient to Fiesta Texas(although it wasn’t open when we were there). Everything around this hotel has been built in the last couple years. Seems like a safe area. Parking and wireless internet access is free. I slept on the sofabed and it was the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in.

Everything about this hotel was nice the rooms, the amentities, lobby, staff etc. I’ve never stayed at a residence inn but I really did use the kitchen and living room options. It’s very new and in a nice area. If you’re into priceline I got this hotel for $ 50 and couldn’t have been happier. The only drawbacks were my bed was surprisingly lumpy for a newer hotel and the location is kind of akward. Oh, and I had trouble getting the room temp colder, even when I had it turned down ridiculously low. The hallway was like Antartica so I felt like my AC was just blowing out there! :)

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. They’ve only been open for about six months now so the place still has that new hotel smell. Its everything I expect from Marriott. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite which was really nice. It was very clean and comfortable. I checked out the fitness center even though I didn’t use it this time. I was impressed. They had two treadmills and one cross trainer. All were gym quality machines. They also had a bench and dumbbells. Much better than a cheap all-in-one machine that most places try to get away with. The location of the hotel is great. It’s next to the Rim so there’s plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Six Flags Fiesta Texas is across the the highway too. We’ll probably stay here again in the future.
