I cannot comment on the facility, but I had a specialist come to me at an in-​patient rehab hospital where they ordered an AFO to be made for me. The gentleman arrived the next day, took my mold and had a turn around of exaxtly 24 hours! I was amazed! And being the kid at heart I am (I’m 30 years old, but a teacher), I asked if he could do it in a bright color, so he popped out his «kids choices» chart and I got a blue swirly looking color. Its the little things in life that make me smile…
The fact that 1, they came to me; 2, turn around time was 24 hours; 3 he went above and beyond and added an extra feature (space for a mobile joint) so it could be modified in the future without having a whole new AFO made! I thanked him for that, because if I progress in the future, I will need a mobile joint (currently its at solid state for drop foot) but that will save me lots of $$$ in the future!
I would highly recommend Prescott’s Orthotics. Family friendly and wonderful staff!

This was our initial visit for a brace fitting so I will update this review/​rating when we go back to pick it up. I arrived for a 1:00pm appointment (probably more of a walk-​in because we were referred to this place by another Dr. on the same day) and was promptly checked in around 1:05. There was only one person ahead of me. No body after us until 2:00 when more people started arriving. After about an hour, we were asked if we wanted something to drink which was nice. At least someone noticed we had been waiting for some time. We finally got seen around 2:12pm. Keep in mind that if you walk-​in without an appointment-​you might have a longer wait time (clearly posted in their waiting area). Lets face it – if you go to many specialists or medical facilities – you’re going to be waiting. I sometimes had to wait 1+ hours at BAMC even with an appointment. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when the uninsured get added after the national healthcare plan kicks in. If you feel you’re getting socialized medicine now – just wait. The specialist was friendly, apologetic about the delay we experienced, and then provided us with a lot of useful information on the process and treatment. He was really good. He estimated about two weeks to get it in depending on my insurance. The clinic promptly called us back to give us an update after they contacted our insurance company and told us when we could expect to see the brace. Note: I will update this review when I go back in for the item.

I had an appointment at 2pm, so at 3pm when I had not been seen, I asked the front desk why I was waiting so long and was told «He’ll see you when he wants to». No thanks, I’ll go somewhere else.
