Took my daughter to her first appointment here, seemed ok. Scheduled her second appointment that same day. A few days before the appointment I got a message that the office was closed due to an emergency. For the whole week. When I called back to reschedule I could not get an appointment until WEEKS later. That’s 3 weeks after she’s supposed to have vaccinations– pretty important since some people are not vaccinating their children.
Today I got a message that the appointment for three weeks later was canceled AGAIN. In calling back repeatedly for rescheduling (on a Monday morning) there was no answer. No way to leave a message. Something is not right– we are going to a different doctor.

Dr Adetona is the best very caring flexible and open minded. Very understanding and supportive of parents choices and never rushes. He even came to the hospital at 3am when we had our son even tho we were brand new patients. Be prepared to have quite a bit of patience with the admin staff. We can be placed on hold several times with them forgetting or mixing up who we are during an a simple appointment scheduling phone call… i cant say its better or worse than any other medical office admin ive experienced in san antonio…(so far all pretty bad) but the annoyance hurdle so far is worth the care we get from dr adetona and his wife they are rare finds!

This is a great place to take your kids for dentistry. They really listen, make sure you are aware of what to expect, and make themselves available in case of emergency. If we didn’t already have an amazing pediatrician, we would probably consider switching that as well.

Love this place! Very supportive of breastfeeding moms, accepting of alt vax and trying natural remedies first. Also very willing to refer out to specialist are when it’s needed. Big advocate of diet as an important factor in health and disease management. Quick to work you in for sick call or urgent situations. Won’t take my kids anywhere else!
