Pork u is uh interesting to say the least. When I think of a burrito I think of spicy, juicy, meaty. Pork u has the juicy and meaty part done but other than that the burritos are rather sweet? They place hot sauce on the counter and I regret not using them. But the burrito was great just wished for spicy

Pork U has got it going on! The nachos grande were perfection. The pulled pork was sweet with the right amount of spicy ness to them, and oozing with 2 kinds of gooey cheeses! Oh my, my mouth is watering again. Great place, cool owner.

Just a quick note on Pork U… First, the owner is a great guy. He is one of the nicest guys I’ve encountered at any food truck here in SA. As a result, the following review was a tad difficult to write. I had their Big Fatty and hated it. Sorry, I’ve had pulled pork that was slightly sweet but this was so sweet it tasted like candy. I could only eat about 4 bites. In addition, I couldn’t taste any smoke on the meat whatsoever. My suggestion would be a lot less sweet and a lot more smoke. On the plus side, if you do love your pulled pork sweet, the Big Fatty is not only sweet but probably at least a pound. Yep, it’s a nice sized burrito. I would like to try Pork U again but I will certainly not be eating the Big Fatty and it’s «sweet» pulled pork.

I absolutely love pork u. Their tacos(macho tacos) are the best I’ve ever had. I crave them all the time and find myself having to full fill those cravings. I went back the other day and decided to change it up a bit and try their salad. Their salad was so awesome. Writing this review is making me hungry. YUP, they’re that good.

I wish Pork U was parked in my back yard! I love the chicken and the pork. I’ve had it all; the tacos, the salad and the burrito. What I would like is a spicier/hotter alternative, same taste with more heat.

Pork U pork tacos have become one of my current obsessions. They taste like nothing I’ve really ever had before and that’s a good thing. The pork is full of flavor and is pretty sweet which I didn’t think I would like, but it’s actually delicious! The pork tacos we ordered came with a side of salsa and corn tortilla chips, like Jai stated they probably are Tostitos brand. It goes along well with the tacos. The service has been fantastic the past few times we have been here. Like Mario S stated, they obviously take great pride in their truck and the food they serve. They bring the food to you and make your life that little bit easier. I love that they have kids choices. It’s hard to find food trucks that serve up food that kids will actually eat and it’s catered to them as well. We haven’t tried anything off of the Kids menus because our kiddo is always asleep ironically when we come, but I can imagine he would love everything. Overall, Pork U is serving up some great food and the service is always above par. I’m not sure why I can’t give them 5 stars, but I’ll continue to try it out and hopefully update in the future!

Geez. Where do I go from here? The service was outstanding. Let me make that perfectly clear first. I just didn’t enjoy the food as much as I had hoped I would. My partner in crime and I tried the beef tacos and a cheese quesadilla. I won’t go into any details about the cheese quesadilla only because that’s something pretty basic. And it was a simple cheese quesadilla which is what I was hoping for at the time — no frills. So the beef tacos(see pic of menu where beef is listed to the left). The beef filling was flavorful, juicy, and just the right amount for the size of the taco. It was topped with shredded cheese and placed inside flour tortillas with a side of corn tortilla chips(I think they were Tostitos brand). The filling is great but needed to be a bit hotter in terms of temperature. Another improvement that could happen is to actually grill the taco on a flat grill because when we received it, the tacos were lukewarm. The cheese didn’t really melt and tbh, the whole thing just didn’t come together as I had hoped. I did notice the slow cookers inside the truck so I figured that was probably why they were just warm. Maybe even add some sort of green chili to the offering — I think that would make the whole dish pop with the beef.
