Palm Beach Tan

Love this place! Great customer service! And always helpful, smiling faces! Even when I sprint in a little before closing, they treat me like I’m the first client of the day!

All the salons I have been to are very well maintained and clean. I can usually get in and out fairly quickly.

Clean environment and a helpful staff. 4 stars because they need garbages, and wipes in the rooms so you can wipe the bronzer off your hands. These things are however located outside the rooms. This place has every kind of tanning bed you’ll ever want/​need and spray tans to boot. They are a little high pressure on the upgrades but I feel like that’s pretty standard for tanning salons. All in all a great place.

I would have recommended this tanning company until recently. I signed up on May 2^nd and I asked a ton of question about billing cycles and when I could cancel to ensure I would be informed. Later I found out from the manager that the associate who had signed me up didn’t even work at that location on a regular basis and the manager did not have nice things to say about associate. I found this very unprofessional.
So again I asked the manager about when I could cancel and not be charged for the following month. Her answer was June 1^st since I had signed up on May 2^nd.
So come June 1^st I personally came in and cancelled and again the associate who cancelled it assured me I wouldn’t be charged.
Here is is almost two weeks later and I am still trying to get reimbursed for the month of June.
They are now telling me I have to cancel by the 25^th to not be charged. Where was this information when I asked for it multiple times before?! Also, now that I am upset and trying to get some compensation the employees have become rude. Anna the assistant manager was extremely rude and I did not appreciate the attitude I received from her when inquiring as to why I was being charged for a month I am not using. She told me I could just consider it a free month. But please tel me how is it a free month when I was charged for it?
I am not even in San Antonio anymore nor am I remotely close to a palm beach locations to utilize my «free» month.
My point is don’t believe everything they tell you because they will tell you whatever you want to hear whether it’s correct or not just to make a sale.
I will never recommend anyone to palm beach tan because of their poor customer service.

I was going to another tanning salon just down the street at quarry for years. But never getting dark like i know I can get with the right bulbs and beds. So I came to Palm beach and I’m much happier. And I get my lashes next door.

Easily the best tanning place around. I didn’t realize the 24 hr rule at first coming from Boston, MA, but once I started to get acclimated with directions around here, I realized I didn’t even live that far. They have many shops in several different convenient locations, GREAT staff at each place, a caring set of rules that look out for UR absolute best interest, the cleanest facilities I have seen from CT, to MA, to TX as well as pretty decent pricing on packages as well as tanning accessories. HIGHLY recommend Palm Beach Tan!

I would recommend it — here’s why:
1) Over 20 beds of differing varieties
2) Large waiting area with television and magazines
3) Vast array of bronzing and intensifying products, of which associates are very knowledgable
4) Friendly service and clean rooms

Convenient location, clean facilitly and very kind/​professinal employees. I really love their Mystic spray tan and they have two «very dark» beds that I love. They carry all my favorite brands of lotions but they don’t «bug» me to buy them everytime I come in. This is my favorite location out of the two I have tried here in San Antonio.

Compared to a tanning salon competitor (ah hem D… T…), this place rocks! The girl at the front desk told me the company sends them to training to be educated on health and skin issues. This place gets 5-​stars, because they are knowledgeable, not sales pushy, and open until 11PM. Pricing is similar to other tanning locations, and they always have a coupon/​sale available.
