Mother’s Window Tint

Walked in and was told $ 200 for my truck… I wasn’t interested and then knocked the price down to $ 160. The guy told me it would take 30 – 40 mins, so I agree and leave my truck. I come back 1 hour later and truck hasn’t moved. Probably won’t return.

Terrible experience. Manager Rudy did not appear to be as knowledgeable as he could be. The young man that was doing the electronics work was quite polite & appeared to show interest to his customers. HOWEVER, the tint guy was obnoxious, arrogant and quite chauvinistic. I had to pay an additional $ 100 to remove a few small pieces of leftover tint. No negotiating. Maybe if he wasn’t texting on his phone it wouldn’t have taken almost 3 hours to install the tint. Customer service is lacking in this store!

I had window tint installed at this location and within a month it started to peel off. The tint wasn’t installed correctly so every time I rolled my windows down the tint would peel up. Don’t get tint from here or if you do make sure it’s installed correctly.

Just Horrible
First off the guy welcomed me by saying «what’s up man» like if he new me
I went there around 3 asking about their window tint for a Ford ranger single cab that had no tint on it I asked how much was it they told 109.95 and how long it would take because I had to be some where @ 4 they said about an hour I said OK then I’ll just come back after that one of the guys said we can take your money and save you a spot and something right there didn’t sit right I told them no and I would be right back when I went back at 525 i asked if they could still do it they said no its too late they close in 15min they told me this without even looking at me the guy was stuck looking at the computer and as I was walking out I said I’ll just go somewhere else he said go a head I then went to custom sounds down the street they did the tint for 99 $ they did an excellent job with a great price and awesome customer service I will never recommend in fact I would tell them not to go to mother’s

Taken my car three times to fix issues with car alarm and every time is a different excuse not to work on it. Seems like if your not purchasing anything than they don’t want to work with you.

My car just arrived from Germany so one of my first priorities was window tint to fight this Texas heat!
I didn’t really shop around because Mother’s has been around as long as I can remember and I know most of their tints carry lifetime warranties.
I called them late this afternoon to ask if they could squeeze in a tint for me and they enthusiastically said c’mon over. I arrived at 2pm, chose my tint (93% UV protection… they have a cool demonstration there where you can FEEL how much heat it blocks), sat down in the waiting area and 45 minutes later, my Klausalike (that’s my car’s name) was all tinted and ready to go!
