Finally men have a place to get pampered, old style hot lather shave, hot towel on face, scalp massage. Stylist are cool hipsters with old school know how and trendy technics. The area is very busy parking can be a bit hard to find. They take appointments and there are upgrade services for that metro sexual in you.

I made a 2pm appointment with a particular barber, arrived at 2:02pm and my appointment was given to a walk-​in. I was told since I did not call to say I was going to be late, my appointment was given to someone else and they could get to me at 2:30pm. That is bad customer service. I probably would have let it go if it had not been the third time I had been treated poorly by this establishment. This first appointment my barber forgot my appointment and went to lunch and I waited 20 minutes while they tried to get a hold of her. The second time I booked an appointment for a haircut and beard trim and when I arrived they said that my barber was booked to tight and she would not have enough time to do my beard trim. I believe the owner is unaware of the lack of attention to detail at his store in Stone Oak. All of these incidents have happened after there was a management change. The previous manager ran a good store. Sorry but three times is my limit. If I am paying a premium price for a haircut, I should receive premium service. I would not recommend this place at this time.

I’m very particular on getting my haircut but I decided to give them a try. When I arrived they asked if I would like a drink which was awesome because you don’t get that anywhere and I’m from Vegas so I’m not expecting much. I have to say though I had the best experience with Matador. I had my hair done by Elissa or Elle and man she knows how to do a fade! Thank you by the way. Once you get your haircut they outline and trim your hairline then they lotion massage your neck and shoulders after they put hot shaving cream on your neck which is relaxing and straight razor your neck which is chilling. Once done they proceed to shampoo and condition your hair while doing that you have a hot eucalyptus smelling towel on your face and enjoying a scalp massage. You’ll leave feeling pampered and looking your best!

I’ve been coming here for about 6 to 8 months now… highly highly recommend McKenna. She is amazing. She does a fantastic job and has a fantastic personality.
