Tina is my massage therapist and she is amazing. She definitely has magic hands! She works out my knots and I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

I had a appt with Stella for my wedding portrait… and to get my NOVA LASHES EYELASH EXTENSIONS !!! The up– do was EXACTLY what I wanted. And she listened to me as far as what I wanted and what I asked for!!! I was very pleased with her work! She is fantastic, and very passionate in her work! I highly recommend her and her daugher for doing my nails and feet!!! She is a asset to this establishment.

I’ve been going to Mary for 5 or more years now. She’s efficient and easy to talk to. The process is as painless as you could hope for. I’ve never been burned or even said «Ow»! Her work space isn’t filled with unnecessary clutter. She has a couple pictures of her kids up, which is nice to see. She’s always very accommodating if I need to change my appointment time. She’s the best!

In the 6+ years Mary Baxter has been my wax lady, she has always been professional. Her room although simple, is clean. I get my entire body waxed, and my eyebrows always get compliments.
The sheets, floor, and equipment are clean. She changes the wax and the sheets out after each client.
She uses a good quality hypoallergenic wax. She asks if the temperature of the wax is ok as she waxes you. I’ve never been burned!
She’s available any day of the week if you set an appointment. She’s also very accommodating on short notice.
She has never canceled or shown up late.
The only thing I can think of that is below average are her prices. I guess it’s because she doesn’t spend her money on a bunch of junk for her room.

This review is for Mary Baxter the esthetician. I bought an amazon local for brazilian waxes and making my appointment was easy. I was beyond disappointed when I walked in to find a room with no décor other than a filthy black futon. The table I sat on was very dirty and her wax warmers were covered in wax. The actual waxing was unpleasant because the wax was too hot I didn’t realize how bad it had burned me til a couple days passed and it was still red and painful to the touch. I have had brazilians before and they usually last about 2−3weeks but for some reason the hair came back in only 3 days! The deal I bought came with 2 waxes but I would rather take the loss than go back.

This review is only for my Esthetician by the name of Alicia Ireland in Suite #53. Where do I start? Alicia is the best! Actually, I have 3 sisters that go to her also because she is that good! 3 of us live in San Antonio and go to Alicia to keep our faces in tip top shape once a month. My other sister lives in Oklahoma City and anytime she visits us she will always ask for an appointment with Alicia. She does everything from waxing to European facials & all types of massages. I have had most of the services performed by Alicia and she is professional and friendly at all times. She listens to your issues and does the appropriate recommendations and her products are all from Europe where she has lived and studied. My favorite service is the European Facial if you want a relaxing experience and to walk out knowing you got a great top of line facial. She does extractions and clears out the oil from your pores. Your face is literally glowing for the next few days. I have people asking me when I go back to work what I did because my I look so refreshed. I have never experienced the attention to the client that Alicia provides. My family and I are hooked for life!!! Please try her out for yourself. Her phone number is 210−383−2046. I followed my hairdresser, Karen Zilly, to this salon. I was 100% impressed with this salon from the moment I walked in. Very tastefully decorated and calm environment. Karen has been styling and coloring my hair for years and she also did the hair for the wedding party at my daughters wedding 2 years ago. I highly recommend Karen. She has a wonderful personality, easy to talk to not to mention the great job she does. I constantly get complimented on my hair even up to the day I am due a touch up and trim!

I have been going to the salon for a while now, & couldn’t be happier! Laura Acosta is my stylist, & she is a genius with color! The salon is centrally located, easy to find, well maintained, & tastefully decorated.

Let me clarify that this salon has multiple rooms within it. So the varying reviews are likely due to the fact that there are different businesses within this business.
My review is on Mary an esthetician. She did my Brazilian waxing back and front and made it as enjoyable as one can be. It only took her about 15 minutes and she uses her own numbing cream before starting, which my last esthetician did not do. I think it helped make the experience less painful, definitely did not completely numb me but made the experience less painful for sure especially around the lip area which is my most sensitive area. Mary is very cordial and good at what she does. If you get Brazilian’s I would recommend her for this very delicate service.

My brief experience here was odd — here’s why:
I was waiting for brunch at Magnolia Pancake Haus, and decided to walk in to LR Salons for a manicure. What is odd is that there is no receptionist up front as you walk in…
A girl who was sweeping the place went to check if they were open for walk-​ins. About 5 minutes later, she wandered back and let me know they didn’t have space. I am assuming they book by phone calls, but the fact that a salon has no receptionist and that you have to find a wandering employee or walk around to find a mysterious suite 31 to ask for an appointment is just a poor business choice.
This was disappointing, overall.

My wedding was scheduled for May 11^th at Scenic Springs in Helotes, TX. We scheduled for me along with 3 bridesmaids to get both our hair and make up done that day and was going to pay an additional fee for her to come onsite. About a week before, my wedding planner got into contact with Michelle and was told that she along with two of her girls would be coming out to the venue on the day of wedding. So finally, the big day arrives. Michelle herself contacted my mother at around 11 AM that morning confirming her 1PM appt; after deciding that 1 PM was a bit early we both agreed upon meeting at 2PM. 2pm rolls around, and with all my bridesmaids waiting patiently, the stylists’ never show up. At approximately 2:15, I myself gave Michelle a call at which time she informed me that she would not be coming out, but that two of her girls were on their way at the time. After waiting 20 more minutes, I decided to call her back again. At this point, Michelle began forwarding both my phone calls, along with my wedding planner’s phone calls. At about 3 pm, we swung into action and had to go all the way back home to get our makeup, curling irons, straighteners and hair spray. We luckily finished our hair and makeup just in the nick of time, and all looked beautiful nonetheless. However, I would never, EVER recommend this stylist. She is not reliable one bit, and in fact is very unprofessional. Had she not been able to make it out, and just let me known, I would have been completely fine. But she kept my girls waiting and wondering if she would ever show up, and it was disrespectful to each and every one of us. People like her is the reason people are weary of finding services on craigslist, and this is the exact kind of horror story that keeps people from going with woman like you. So, if you want a reliable person for your wedding, make sure you DO NOT go with Michelle because you just might find yourself in the same position.

For Shellac or natural nail work, you CANNOT miss out on seeing Cristina! Her work is the best I have ever experienced. She is extremely detail oriented, personable, professional, and very knowledgeable of her field. I will never go to anyone else in town! I leave her feeling relaxed, refreshed and with flawless nails!
