I’ve lived here for a little over a year now and it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. Every place I’ve ever live in has its flaws and this place is no different. If you’re looking for a decent place to live with decent pricing I suggest living here. Maintenance has always been on top of fixing any issues in my apartment and the office is super nice.

Everything I have to say is negative. The management doesn’t want an excessive amount of people coming into the complex so you have a key card and that’s the only way to get in. If you have guests over then you have to drive over to the gate to let them in. Also paying rent can only be done via money order which is extremely inconvenient. Also they have the highest pet deposit I’ve ever heard of in San Antonio. There is a really bad problem with roaches which they try to keep under control but it doesn’t help. The actual apartment is pretty outdated and when I asked to have my cabinet doors replaced because I saw they had excessive damage, they said it would not be done when they upgraded another apartment which they didn’t know how long that would be.

Last night I was visiting my lady at the lodge Apartments — Perrin Creek in San Antonio Texas. I was surprised when my car was towed from the facility after I parked in the visitor area. Unbeknownst to me, I was parked in an area that wasn’t prominently lighted; as, it was very dark outside. If anyone visits this complex, take heed — make sure you are parked in a spot that is clearly marked visitor; otherwise, they will tow your car. In all of my life experiences, I have never been so dissatisfied with an apartment complex that penalizes visitors for things beyond their control such as a parking lot that is not adequately lighted. Moreover, this type of parking setup if not appropriate particularly if a visitor has a handicap and/or other conditions such as being in a wheelchair or having to use other apparatuses to get around. Very disappointed and frankly I don’t recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants to move there — visitors should not be penalized just for visiting people that live there. If I was the manager of the this complex, the people who live in the complex would be my first priority — I would ask questions and solicit feedback and/or surveys to determine how to make the facility more pleasant and welcoming for both tenants and guests!
