Legacy Garage Doors

Very pleased!!! i myself found this company based on other Unilocal Reviews.
We wanted a garage door opener installed so I called multiple companies to get estimates before finally deciding on Legacy Garage Doors.
Everyone quoted me higher prices and some even refused to install the opener because I was purchasing it at Home Depot instead of from them.
The gentleman who answered the phone was very professional and informative. I advised him that I would be going to Home Depot to purchase the opener and rather than give me push back on that, he offered suggestions and helped me figure out how to pick out the best opener that would last for many years. Once they provided the quote on install price, it was $ 100 cheaper than than the next closest priced company.
They were able to schedule an appointment for us the very next day which was very convenient. The tech arrived the next day and at the agreed upon time. He was quick to install the garage door opener and even went above and beyond to reroute the wall mounted control box in an easier to reach location without charging any extra than the telephone quoted price.
Bottom line… I felt comfortable and pleased with the service this company provided. After seeing the story WOAI about the multiple shady garage door companies here in San Antonio, I was relieved to have found this company.

Prior to contacting Legacy Garage Doors, we had experienced problems with our oversized door for two years. The cables were kinking up, causing the door to misalign. The prior company repeatedly replaced the cables, but were never able to solve the problem. James, from Legacy, was prompt, professional and thorough. He diagnosed the cause of the problem and had a solution in about a half an hour. He ordered special parts and was back to fix it in just a few days. The door has been working properly ever since. Great job!

We had a GREAT experience with Legacy Garage Doors!!! James was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and clean! We had previously called another garage door company and the person who came out was rude and very unprofessional and never got back to us with a quote. My father suggested I use Legacy Garage Doors as they had just replaced their garage door and my dad really liked James and his work. I knew if my dad liked him he must be good as my dad is a very hard to please architect.
James came out and gave us a quote. He explained to both of us what needed to be done and then gave us several different options as to how we could go about it. The prices were great and the options were priced lower than what we anticipated. We decided to replace the entire garage door and went with the insulted option.
James worked around our busy schedule and the first night he was here past 7:30 p.m. I thought everything looked great and was very happy with the work but James wanted to improve on some very minor details and said he would be back the next day. I offered to pay him that night and he refused payment until the next day when he took care of the minor details. He came back the following evening and stayed past 8:15 p. m!!! He made some changes and the garage door looked and functioned better than I ever imagined. I thought, «Now, that is what a garage door should be!» It was ten times better than the door 2.5 year old door that we just replaced.
I am beyond pleased with Legacy Garage Doors and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to fix or replace a garage door.
