Most of the time they are nice and get my order right… A few times they screw up my order and I have to go in and tell them. But they are always happy to correct my order AND throw in some tacos. Yahhhhh buddy.

Giving this place 4 stars for the late night service(24hr). Was able to get some pretty decent breakfast sandwiches(breakfast all day) at close to midnight. Not high cuisine, but filled the void after a long drive.

The food here was really good and it wasn’t thrown together… it receives 4 stars. The reason I gave 1 star is because of the service and here’s why. I go inside to the register to order. The nice kid(very helpful and patient) said I have to order my food from the kiosk machine next to me. What??? A machine??? Wtf??? Since when? Since when does Jack in the Box detach from customer service? I don’t want to say hello to a box I want to say hello to a person that smiles back! It’s a touch screen machine and you get to custom order what you want, similar to ordering online for subway. This by far is the most idiotic corporate dumbshit idea ever. Here’s why: 1. What if the electric goes out while getting change back? 2. What if this machine decides to reboot during a rush? 3. It’s busy and the person in front of you doesn’t know how to operate the machine and starts over? And while this is going on it’s busy and you’re hungry as hell? 4. The nice employee came out to help everyone… so why not let him run the register and give customer service instead anyway… right? Are you listening to the words coming outta my mouth Mr. Jack… or is it Mr. Jackass? 5. Maybe the machine is there to prevent employee theft? 6. Maybe the government has cut back so much in education that they don’t know how to learn to operate cash registers. I can go on all day about corporate stupidity… but I left enough here to make you laugh or make you call their home office… oooooohh…that’s a great idea! Kiosk= dumb dumb dumb!

Normally when my husband requests fast food, JITB is the last on my list. But for some reason, I was in the mood for some jalapeño poppers and Jack was just down the street. I ran through the usual suspects and noticed BAJATACOSALAD… It looked promising. Well let me tell you. The have really stepped up the ingredients. I’m talking restaurant quality. The steak on top was warm and tasty. Mixed greens were fresh and not the typical limp lettuce you get from Mickey-D’s. The dressing was an avocado ranch twist that gave everything a nice kick to it. Topped with tortilla strips and salsa, taking things to a whole new level. I mean who knew fast food could taste so good?
