As usual, the prices are great here. This particular HL is really clean, as well, and it’s gigantic: they have a little more variety at this store than at others in the area. The one thing I’ve found, though, is that the employees are super shy, so it’s difficult to track one down. Also the managers awkwardly guard the doors for a half hour before closing which is a bit creepy. Love it otherwise.

HL’s canvases are incredibly over-priced, so I first started buying canvases from a friend. When he moved, I learned to frame and stretch my own canvas. I save tons of money. Also, other crafts supplies are marked up way to high. I have started ordering everything I use on-line. Sure, I have to plan ahead, but for the money I save, it’s worth it. I have never met a staff person there who was able to make a suggestion for tools or supplies on a project.

Any time I go to Hobby Lobby, I find more things than I ever planned on wanting. They have really cool items to decorate your home with. Even as a guy, they have all sorts of things and frames, posters, ironworks, etc.

I’m always impressed with the place. I go in there every once in awhile when I need something, and wind up staying a lot longer just to browse at all the new stock. Never had a problem with the customer service. The return/exchange counter was helpful and there are employees walking around that you can flag down if you need something. Great job guys!

Worst customer service ever! Went there 2 min before closing for a quick item and they already had the doors shut and mgr’s standing at the front door. How rude! My 12 yr old daughter was saddened by their inability to communicate with customers and their non caring personalities. DONOTSHOPHERE! They don’t care if you do, so why should you! Btw, John(one of the mgr’s) is the devil!

Was killing time before a movie. Did not have what I need on one item, but did find another item so it was not a total loss.

Hobby Lobby always runs a half off custom framing special. They are direct and efficient and get the work done! So, I was happy with there services. I did think it was a little pricey, but I have never had to get a custom frame job before. Overall, the customer service was professional and I would go back to Hobby Lobby for custom framing services.

I have shopped at Hobby Lobby for years, but will not any longer since they feel it is OK to deny female employees basic health care because of privately held beliefs. Shame on you Hobby Lobby.

This is what every crafter should do: Sign up for the weekly email. Your favorite crafting items will go on sale often and you will save a ton of money by knowing that sort of information. I usually find myself picking up a new craft hobby at least once a year. This year is card making(Birthdays, Valentine’s and Christmas). I don’t bother sorting through Ross or Tuesday Morning for frames(usually scratch and dent) these days. Hobby Lobby usually has their frames 50%. If they don’t have them discounted this week, you’ll find them discounted the following week. Also, when you want to hunt down unique gift ideas, you’ll find something here whether it be a Christmas ornament or a decoration piece, it’s hard leaving empty handed. Come here, often.

I paint. And I like crafts. And I like to find cheap but pretty ways to decorate my house. Hobby Lobby is a good, sort of general starting place for all of this. Although for most of my painting supplies I would go to more art-specific stores, I tend to find great deals on canvas at Hobby Lobby. I have two nieces who I love to do little art projects with and those nearly all start at Hobby Lobby. And they have several aisles of housewares that are great as well! The trick to Hobby Lobby is to shop the sales. Literally everything in the store will be on sale up to 50% off within a couple of weeks of its arrival, so if you can be patient and shop regularly you’ll get amazing deals. The front of the store will usually have several aisles of major clearance items. I’ve gotten $ 100 lamps there on clearance for as little as $ 15 before. Of course, the things tend to be pretty standard and even sometimes cheesy, but with a little creativity and time, you can turn those standard run of the mill things into a fun project and dress it up on your own and make it exactly the way you like it. That $ 15 lamp I bought had a plain, boring shade, so I went to the fabric section and bought some tassels for $ 8 and hot-glued them on and now my lamp looks like a custom creation from a high-end store and all I spent was $ 23. I highly recommend this place for general arts and crafts projects. Huge selection, really nice and helpful staff and GREATSALES! Remember… shop the clearance racks and find some hidden gems for yourself!

This is a big place with everything you need. The staff are helpful and one of the assistant manager(Marcelino?) took a great deal of care in answering some complex questions. Their prices are competitive when held against most specialty art suppliers. The only trouble I have is trying not to spend my whole salary there. Robert W. Let me tell you about«Gaudy Lobby». It’s a good place to get supplies for arts and crafts… I get my art supplies from here… and that’s about it. Other than that, this place is a Mecca for MeMaws. If I was an old lady, I would pray to Baby Jesus I end up here when I die. It’s got everything… the silk flowers, the hideous vases that won’t match any décor, a «scrap» load of stuff for scrapbooking… It’s even got one of those«Bedazzlers» in case you get the urge to dress up like Michael Jackson.(You’re gonna need something to fasten all those plastic rhinestones to your wardrobe… don’t ask me how I know… I plead the 5th.) The pungent smell of formaldehyde will let you know you’re in the right store.
