I was looking for Gu for run training but when I walked in, I figured I walked into a gym. It was set up exactly like a fitness gym, so I got a little confused.
They had Precor elliptical, light weight training gear, and treadmills. I spoke with Joe at length about what they had and who they sold to, etc. It was really interesting and while it was a Friday and no one was in sight, Joe assured me that weekends were busy.
Mostly the equipment is sold to private owners and homes, rather that to gyms. People can come in and try out the equipment, bring their kids to the play area and be confident in their service.
Once you purchase a piece of equipment, Hest will deliver and set up the equipment. They will come to your house and service the machine, as well. It is a pretty big deal to buy a Hest fitness machine.
