Heavenly Gourmet LLC Catering

I used Heavenly Gourmet for my wedding last month and they did a great job. I chose them because the pricing was good and the food at the tastings I went to was fantastic– I wanted Italian and they were able to give me multiple pasta dishes which was perfect. The staff stays the entire event and cleans up which is really nice. My only complaint is that one of the pasta dishes I chose was really really bland the day of the wedding. I really liked it when I had it before so maybe it just doesn’t transport well– but I would recommend staying away from the garden primavera dish. But, the penne a la vodka and stuffed chicken were both fantastic so no one starved. Everyone complimented us on the food too-​especially the chicken.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could… But rated high rather than low because the staff was great. They catered a wedding for one of my clients last weekend. The food was decent (not great, but good considering that they had to transport it over an hour and keep it warm for another hour and a half after it was cooked), the 2 employees working the event were knowledgeable and quick. They did a WONDERFUL job at the event. However, the company hired a staffing company for the additional 3 employees needed to service the event and their employees were TERRIBLE. If I had the name of the staffing company, I would leave a negative review for them because their employees were terrible. 1 was worse than the other 2 (by far) but they were all slow, couldn’t stay on top of the minimal tasks that they were hired to do, didn’t bus tables, didn’t help serve water to the guests, had to be told multiple times what to do and how to do it… they delayed food service about 20 min longer than should have been because they were clueless and lazy.

Heavenly Gourmet was AMAZING!!! I had first heard of them when a friend wanted them for her wedding and was sad that they were already booked that day. When I went to the open house for what would become my wedding venue, Heavenly Gourmet was one of the caterers there. I ran to try their food after hearing so many positive things about them. They did NOT disappoint. We booked them right away and it was one of the best decisions of our wedding. We wound up going with the Heavenly Stuffed chicken and Feta Basil mashed potatoes. We are STILL getting compliments on how great our food was. We had left overs and even ate them for lunch AND dinner the next two days and fought over the last plate! BOOK HEAVENLY GOURMET!!! We tried other caterers just to be sure and they were just a waste of time. Too expensive for bland, dry food. Heavenly Gourmet was BEYOND catered food and stepped up to the plate the day of our wedding for way less than other people who simple did not compare. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
