Our food was a tad bit cold, but it definitely tasted good & our service was actually fantastic. The TVs were evenly distributed as far as which games/fights were on, which was pretty cool cause you could just kind of glance back & forth between them rather than having to choose what to watch. Prices are incredibly reasonable too! Overall, nice experience. We’ll definitely be back.

5 stars for the pizza rolls 3 stars for the pizza We are new to the area and I was hunting around for a good pizza place near us. As you may be able to tell, they are known for their pizza rolls. Which are essentially pepperoni pizza meets fried egg rolls. Interesting idea that proves to be incredible. The place wasn’t terribly busy on a Friday around 7. We were seated right away. We ordered 4 pizza rolls which ended up being way too many for the two of us. 4 rolls = 4 huge egg rolls that they then cut in half, so more like 8 rolls. So much food! We also ordered their alfredo pizza, which wasn’t bad, but it wouldn’t be what brought me back. I wanted to order their pesto pizza, but they were sadly out of pesto. The pizza rolls came out super quick and as everyone has said, were incredible. The pizza though took another solid 30 minutes to come out to us. The place really wasn’t that busy so I have no idea why it took so long. And then it wasn’t even that impressive. I’ve been craving those pizza rolls though! I would return and just get a salad and the pizza rolls, pass on the pizza.

The pizza rolls are DELICIOUS! The half order will easily feed two as a meal. Had a great meat lovers pizza as well.(we would not have ordered a pizza had we known how filling the pizza rolls would be). After enjoying the rolls you could easily order a small pizza and be plenty full. Great service, fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Been coming here since they opened and I fell in love. Everything is made from scratch, or so they say. My favorite are the pizza rolls. They have beer flights, a good craft beer selection, and some decent wines available but no liquor license. Along with that the Bar top and tables are cool and there’s plenty of tv’s. Carmen my waitress, was super nice and the rest of the staff is always helpful and friendly, oh and the owner is a genuine guy. They’ve grown quite a bit since they opened and are opening another location on Bandera near Marshall HS. I hope to see them do well and hopefully they don’t lose their touch.

The pizza rolls are my favorite but I’ve found out that ordering to-go is much better than dinning in. Last couple of times the service has been not great!

Amazing pizza, great beer selection, and great customer service. The restaurant is big enough to seat people comfortably.

Surprisingly good food. Ok, I admit I have faults. One of them is trusting a restaurant that is connected to a gas station has quality food. This is what Halftime Pizza has… quality food! They proved they have great food. Their pizza rolls are amazing!

I called 8 times for take out and no one answered. I decided to just go and wait for it there. When I got there it was about 4:30 pm and the place was closed. Lights and fans and everything was on but the doors were locked. I checked the hours and it was supposed to open at 1:00pm. Very disappointed. Ok, I decided to give this place a second chance because I really wanted to try the food. I’m still very disappointed. I didn’t even finish my food. I ordered the philly cheese steak and it was extremely spicy. Maybe to drown out the gross taste of the meat. I was craving it sooooo bad and it was such a disappointment. My family also ordered the fried pickles and they were soggy. Again, disappointed. I will not be returning.

I live 4 blocks away. For the past few years. I heard negative feed back from this place. So today. I decided to try this place out. I placed. An order to go. Showed up 10 minutes early. Went to the bar the gentleman that assisted from the time I walked in. Offered a happy hour beer. Believe it or not they had my beer on tap. Lone Star. 5 Stars. Came home the Philly sandwich. 5 Stars. The 2 pizzas. 4 Stars. Staff. friendly and outgoing. Great service. I wish I would have not listen to the negative remarks. This neighbor establishment is 5 Stars in my book. Thanks guys. Joe

We ordered take out, and I have to say I was not impressed. Pizza looked really blah, and it tasted just as much. Nothing new or something that would make more different than a Digiornos frozen pizza. I really did try to give it a chance and tried to find what the whole deal was about. Ordered the home run baby and it came with no jalapeños. I don’t think they would’ve saved it. It’s not Good but not terrible actually it did taste pretty terrible if hadn’t drown it in Tabasco I probably wouldn’t been able to eat it.

Coming to half time Pizza and not having much of an expectation from a pizza I was taken back by the first bite of the pizza roll appetizer that was recommended to me by the waitress. The pizza roll are deliciously paired with fresh marinara sauce that will sure make anyone night. The pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked. You can’t forget about their drink selection, great selection of draft beer at a great prize can’t beat that. I have been looking for a good pizzeria and I must say I have officially found one. Totally recommend!

Not a bad little hole in the wall place. The way the margarita pizza looks scares me. It’s my favorite pizza but this looks like a cheese pizza with strange burnt stuff on top. Kids sort of ate it. The pizza rolls, fried pickles, drinks and supreme pizza were great! Live music, so if you have a hypersensitive autistic child like me then clear out before they play!

I ordered delivery on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quick which was awesome. Unfortunately one pizza was awesome the other was inedible. The pepperoni pizza we ordered was completely burnt on the bottom. I made sure I took pics of both for comparison.

I don’t like: — having to wave my arms around for service in a half empty restaurant — having to separately order basics like water and silverware — having an empty box thrown at me when taking the rest of my meal to go(never in any country anywhere have I had to scoop my food myself in it when ready to go) — having a wall of wine next to me with no idea what’s in there I do like: — good, basic pizza — a nice waitress taking their time to humor my lonely dining self with a funny quip(sorry I only tipped 10% or less, just felt like a nuisance in the end, all in all. Lonely diners need attention!) — good beer — local establishments with a cozy feel In the end, «CJ» who comes to your place often can wait for more than 15 seconds to get served(he didn’t have to) but 10 minutes for me is too much. See you in the next life.

Calzones are absolutely bona-fide! A lil history, I ordered some pizzas and one was wrong. They admitted to the order and offered to temake it. In essence of time I said just to add veggies to the other half and throw it back in the oven for a bit. David, the manager, obliged and got on it. Fast forward to the next day, I get a call from Dave and he admits he wasn’t satisfied with the pizza he corrected and offered to comp a pizza on my next order! This is amazing to me. He took it upon himself to correct that for me! That speaks volumes to me and I will be a patron to Halftime as long as they are open.

Halftime Pizza received their alcohol license soon after my first review, but I never came back to correct that aspect of my previous submission. They now have a very nice selection of wine, and I really like the way they manage their beer taps. There are only about six taps, so they use these for the decent beers: Busted Sandal IPA, Shiner Bock, Peroni, Dos Equis and a couple more. The«usual suspects» for people who don’t like beer(e.g. Bud, Miller, Coors regular & light) are available in bottles. Why doesn’t every bar do it this way? A couple of updates to the food: The pizza rolls are probably the best finger food I’ve ever had at a pizza joint. In fact, I drop in at least once a week to grab some to go. A half order(five pieces) is enough for my wife and me to have as a meal. Another big winner: the house dressing. It’s kind of a thin ranch dressing with lots of dill. It’s unusual but very good. This is a great place to stop at when you’re in the neighborhood. Everyone who works here is friendly and cool. Check ‘em out!

So I went into halftime pizza yesterday. I asked them if they had any specials, and they said yes they have two 1 topping pizzas for $ 20. I said that sounds good I will get one sausage and one pepperoni. When my pizzas were finished 40 minutes later, I paid 4 both without checking the receipt. They charged me 1 dollar per pizza to add a topping, I guess they consider cheese the first topping on their pizzas. On top of that there was literally one piece of sausage /pepperoni per slice on these pizzas. Take a look at the picture I am not exaggerating. I will never return to this pizza place because they are a complete and total rip off. I thought $ 20 for two medium pizzas sounded excessive but I was thinking if it’s really good it’s worth it, & I love really good pizza. But this pizza was not good, it was not worth it, I would have rather had little Caesars. All of the other posts on here must either be relatives of the owner or friends of the staff.
